  1. Yes...feels humbling to get that much water when so many others need it a lot more than I did.
  2. You got that right. Both CTP and MU think tomorrow will be much more active than today was. If we get under something similar tomorrow, the historic district will suddenly be waterlogged.
  3. Suddenly, itstrainingtime week in Maytown. Over 3.5" of rain and counting.
  4. I uh...umm...ended up with 1.73" from round #1. It's pouring again.
  5. Pouring here in Maytown. One lonely cell in the region and it's sitting right over me. Temp down to 76.
  6. 90.2 here under full sun. Day #25 in the 90 degree club.
  7. Skies are slowly clearing here-temp is now 85. MU has been steadfast that our area gets close to 90 today.
  8. Back home now. 0.00" of rain yesterday here. Currently it's partly sunny, 83, and ridiculously oppressive. Just unloaded the car and I'm miserable.
  9. I now know where that is...right up the road from the Frosty Putter!
  10. Cabin overlooks the lake and I can't see it. Near zero visibility.
  11. I'm at Pinchot this week and we've had heavy rain but zero wind here. Trees are barely moving.
  12. 93/73 at home. Here at Pinchot...well, it's hot. Highest dewpoint that I ever actually recorded was 81.
  13. Next 5 days will be the most humid stretch we've had this year.
  14. 88 at home already. This will be day #24 to reach 90. MU really bullish on rains tomorrow and Saturday- most areas get around 1" with some areas getting 3-4" with flash flooding issues. #itstrainingtime. I'll be back in the historic district tomorrow.
  15. 91 was the high in Maytown today. 23rd day I reached the 90 mark.
  16. Certainly conceivable. A few days will be close.
  17. I didn't see that move coming. They picked up 4 minor leaguers, 2 of which it's hoped to make a significant contribution in the show going forward. Really tough place to be this year-this team was ranked 29th in most preseason polls. The fact that they are where they are is making what would have been easy decisions (selling) a little more difficult for us fans to digest. Again, the focus is on the big picture and not a potential short-term run with a team that wasn't likely going to be there in October.
