  1. I picked up exactly .3" since midnight. MU was calling for "a few tenths of an inch" overnight between the turnpike and Rt. 30. Can't be any more accurate than that!
  2. Thunderstorm in progress. Tenth of an inch in the bucket.
  3. MU thinks it'll be at least 10-12 days before we see 90. Which means that you won't see 90 until next July.
  4. I didn't have time to list everyone...Jon Nese. I think I read that Jon and Horst were fellow students together at University Park in the met program during the 1980s. Eric would often retweet Jon's thoughts.
  5. He sure was. Abrams, Bastardi, Sobel...pretty good roster right there. But my favorite met on Weather World, and one of my top #2 all-time was Paul Knight.
  6. My childhood favorite...until I discovered Weather World...
  7. Monday Clouds & Sun Chc. of Showers 40% low 80s 3 Tuesday Partly Sunny Chc. of Showers 30% low 80s 3 The 3 on the far right indicates his level of confidence, which in this case would be average confidence for this time period.
  8. (someone needs to wake up WPC - they're forecasting about a tenth of an inch during this time period)
  9. Plus would be getting something into a workable range. Sunday is just 4 days away instead of nearly a week out like I posted.
  10. Tuesday/Wednesday time period seems to have some decent potential for beneficial rain.
  11. I'm sitting at 81/66 - 66 is definitely on the sticky side, but it's noticeably better than the mid 70s of the past several days. Easy for me to say carrying a computer backpack 200'...
  12. 37-22 since June 1st, and they have a winning record against every AL East team except for the Bombers. As much as I've grown to despise aspects of my favorite childhood sport, this is the magic of baseball. NO ONE saw this coming. Last sports team to make a historic run that was unexpected might have been the Jaguars when they took the Patriots to the brink in the AFC Championship several years ago. But that Jags team had an incredible defense surrounding a horrid QB. It sort of made sense that they made a run...after all, the Ravens won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at QB. You look at the Orioles lineup today and you think "god, this team has to really suck." They just keep finding ways to pull wins out of their fannies.
  13. Random comment - the Baltimore Orioles, who were ranked #30 in ESPN's preseason rankings (author ranked them 30 because, as he said, there wasn't a way to rank them lower) are now sitting 2 games out of 2nd place in the vaunted AL East. This is crazy. I'm patiently waiting for my team to collapse and they refuse to do so. Maybe this post will be the Sports Illustrated jinx.
  14. Matched you this morning with a low of 72. 7 degrees lower than yesterday. My high-tech comfort level meter (fogging of my lenses) still indicted a fair amount of said fogging this morning, but I honestly thought it felt a little better out there. Maybe I woke up with a better disposition than yesterday.
  15. .16" here. After being bullseyed last week I won't complain at all. Congrats to those who won today!
  16. Nice! At 3pm, my HI was 107. How's that for nasty?
  17. Oh, I know what you said. I was looking for some bad comic relief today. LOL
  18. Hopefully it rained hard for the duration to bring relief.
  19. How often does Phoenix NOT reach 100 in August?
  20. Couple of small cells in northern Dauphin and a few more moving east out of Franklin/Adams - at least some of us have a chance at something this afternoon it seems.
  21. Nice ribbon of 90s across the northern half of Lanco and York.
  22. 91/74 here approaching noon. I think that says it all.
