  1. Being at work, I had to rely on my wife to measure for my records. She said 2"...and don't anyone say anything about it... She already told me it was more than she's used to.
  2. If MU's .9" holds, Lanco still hasn't received a 1" snowfall for the season.
  3. Will there be a fly in the ointment for the bugger storm?
  4. Dry slot is here - and for areas that it didn't reach yet...it shuts off real quick.
  5. It was pretty insistent that it would snow down here. Definitely won that little battle.
  6. Yeah, the NAM and short term meso's left us high and dry. I hedged with them and got taken out behind the woodshed.
  7. GFS did better than a lot of models for sure, but I think (?) the Euro might have been better. GFS had the 2"+ mark well down through Lanco - I don't think southern areas are getting to 2". I thought the Euro had closer to 1" over most of southern Lanco which seems to be a more likely outcome at this point. Jus got past 1" here in Columbia with moderate snow, so we'll see.
  8. 743 actually has 2 accidents in stretch of 4-5 miles and both have entrapments.
  9. Sleet in Harrisburg with snow 30 miles southeast of there - think rates are playing a role in that.
  10. I'm super happy to be wrong. And I was wrong. Sort of. Still less than 1" in places south of Rt. 30.
  11. Yep! Dumping here at the bottom of the hill. Right now the hill itself is wet on this side at least.
  12. Between 1/2 - 1" in Columbia...definitely shy of 1" though. Snow is light to moderate but doesn't seem to be accumulating much. Roads are improving quickly.
  13. @Mount Joy Snowman - Chickies is a mess. I'm watching Penn Dot going up and down treating it, but the rates over the past 30 minutes or so was outdoing their efforts. Snow has come down to moderate intensity now for sure, so hopefully they can catch up.
  14. Roads caved in Columbia in literally 2 minutes. Vis is down to a couple of hundred feet.
  15. I'm working on the 4th floor of our visitor's center at 441/30 at the bottom of Chickies and it just started within the past 10 minutes. Right now visibility is really low - this is probably heavy vs moderate intensity, and the ground is starting to whiten up.
  16. First snow beyond a few flurries just started here at work.
  17. Wife says the ground is starting to turn in Maytown, 5 miles south of you. It's been over 20 minutes since the first flakes were flying here at work. Still nada beyond a few flakes.
  18. My fear is that the snow-starved hounds of southern Lanco might get screwed again...snow has now reached as far east as Chester county, and yet it's still not snowing in SW Lanco south of Rt. 30. That area has been whiffed the entire season.
  19. Snowing in Maytown, it's actually stopped here at work.
