  1. Saw the latest Euro snowfall map it didn't look awful for Sunday...2-4" for most of the LSV? Maybe I was looking at a different image.
  2. Hmm. Everything is white here at work except for our campus. Our facilities team is second to none. Shout out to them. They also keep the hill coming up to the plant clear, far better than Penn Dot.
  3. Mr. Baseball. I remember Bob doing MLB game of the weeks so long ago.
  4. Can you imagine leaving for Florida via I95 and thinking "man, I'm not sure what I'm going to do to avoid getting snowed in down in Florence"
  5. Shades of March 1993 but even a bit further south. Then again though, that wasn't the dead of winter. That was just about the middle of March. Mobile had over 1" of snow from that storm. They sit on the freaking Gulf. That was incredible.
  6. IF...haha, but IF the maps posted above pan out...by Sunday night I will have already eclipsed every single winter snowfall forecast that I saw for our area from any met back in November.
  7. I sincerely hope that everyone is enjoying this winter season. What had all the makings of a "shut the blinds, see 'ya in 2026" year has led to multiple (yes, small, but still) snowfalls. Currently I still have a small amount left from last week, it's currently snowing and we're tracking the next potential event coming in 72 hours. Seems pretty decent to me.
  8. Some great runs in this model suite tonight for Sunday. Would love to have snow on the ground during the arctic blast.
  9. Is it a Capital gain at our expense or does it miss them as well? At this point, I'm prepared for Wilson NC to get more snow than we do in the next 2 weeks.
  10. Blizz digging out from a half foot while I "enjoy" a slushy coating. Sounds about right!
  11. It's been a long time since I've been lucky. It will very much be a surprise.
  12. @Bubbler86 we just got Ralphied! "Buckle Up" has been spoken...
  13. Could not disagree more. Flyers are worlds better as far as watchability and future. They literally just beat the defending Champs last night. Other than a few games they are in every one. They also lead the NHL with 8 wins when entering the 3rd period losing.
  14. Snow has caved your road more times this winter than James Franklin has lost to ranked teams.
  15. I had 2 sub-minus 20 lows that month...a -21 and a -22. Needed a jacket those mornings.
  16. He tried to say "buckle up" but he chickened out at the last second!
  17. On the other hand...MU says 16 next Tuesday might be too...warm: https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  18. A true 1980s winter where the Carolinas got smoked while I was smoking cirrus...
  19. One thing that I find extremely encouraging is that there are no tell-tale signs of winter's demise. Even with relaxes there's plenty of winter showing itself in the extended period.
  20. Regarding next week, I'm a little skeptical of the current forecast high temp. For example, for today, CTP had my forecast high of 21 back on Saturday. It's currently 25 and likely heading for at least the upper 20s. That's a big miss. Historically, warmth seems to be constantly under-forecasted and cold seems to be over-forecasted. I think next week will be very cold...not sure we'll see highs in the mid teens. At least based off what has happened more often than not.
  21. Went to the Flyers - Panthers game tonight. What a great time, great game with the Flyers coming back twice to beat the Stanley Cup Champs. And such a stark contrast from the Sixers in energy and effort. Flyers are a team worthy of my money. They. Don't. Quit.
