  1. .15" of rain since midnight. Currently it's 37 with dense fog.

  3. Pretty good job by the HRRR today - was at 63 two hours ago and hasn't eclipsed that mark since. It's 62.6 right now.
  4. Euro has no precip in PA on Saturday. Some rain in Hampton Roads and a few snow showers in the 'Dacks.
  5. Yeah, I don't see any precip on the Euro within a couple of hundred miles on Saturday. Edit: that's only through 7am Saturday. Let the run play out, HR guy...
  6. Quite possibly. Still holding out home for some wet snow in March at some point...time for some good 'ole fashioned "mashed poTATUMs" that quickly melt.
  7. Wednesday through Friday projected highs for Lanco: 38, 75, 40. Not often you see 2 dramatic swings in succession like that.
  8. Yesterday, temps were rising quickly at this time of day only for a quick plateau and step backwards by 2pm. It'll be interesting to see how things go over the next 2-3 hours. The sun is helping promote a quick spike right now.
  9. That's what I'm kinda afraid of... Though - every cool day in May is one less day to contend with heat, so I'm okay with that.
  10. Smelling a big time overachiever today - sunny and 63.3 at 12:15pm. Skies are mostly sunny with a few summerlike cumulus out there...to my knowledge, this was NOT the forecast from last night for today.
  11. Already up to 53 and it's not 10:30 yet - solid chance for another 60 degree day.
  12. Seems like the weekend and early next week potential are slowly but surely fading for snow hopes. It seemed a little fast/soon to score...on the maps above that Blizz posted for this weekend the ridge axis isn't even close to where we want it.
  13. Yep, and that's exactly why I refuse to say winter is over despite how epically horrible it has been. Plenty of time left for a late season hurrah.
  14. We hit 58 by 1:30 - shortly thereafter clouds moved in and temps dropped. It was 57 at 2pm, 54 at 3pm, and down to 50 at 4pm. Kind of an unexpected progression.
  15. Mostly sunny and 58 at 1:30... Currently 53 at MU so I'm definitely overachieving.
  16. Pretty good disparity in temps today - 50 here now. In the sun it feels quite warm. No question the sun is getting higher in the sky now.
  17. Very true - 3 consecutive sub freezing days with frozen precip on all 3 of them. Can't remember the last time that happened here.
  18. Can't post on my phone, but what an informative series of tweets from Elliott a few hours ago about the SSWE and the potential affects on our weather in March. In short, he sees potential for a one to two week window for snow at some point between 2/28 and 3/20.
  19. Winter must also be defined by more than just snow. In addition to almost being shutout snow-wise, it has NOT been cold. My lowest temp for the entire month of January was 25 degrees- that is an AN temp for virtually the entire month and that was the coldest morning. Some of our other snowless winters featured some cold weather. Outside of the couple of days around Christmas it's been warm.
