    Still growing here pretty fast. Hasn't really slowed down this week that much. High here was 87. Same as yesterday.

    I'm mowing this evening once again... 85.7 here - about a degree or so cooler than yesterday.

    Also, this: Also of note is that today will mark the 12th straight day with no measurable rain at @millersvilleu. As expected, the new U.S. Drought Monitor shows abnormally dry and moderate #drought conditions expanding across the mid-Atlantic States. #needrain

    Here's some more temp data from yesterday and this morning: (I'm currently at 76.3) Yesterday's low of 60°F at @millersvilleu tied the record high min, or "warmest low," temp from 1947, and the mean temp of 72°F broke the old record of 69°F. As of 10 AM this morning, the mercury has already reached 74°F, so the #April13 record high of 85°F from 1977 should fall!

    Wind is out of the NW which would make sense why you're running cooler. I think you do well with heat when winds are SW from what I remember.

    Walking across campus this morning here at work - it "looks" like a summer sky. It "feels" like summer. Hard to believe we're not to the midpoint of April. After years of watching our kids play high school spring sports on cloudy, windy 45-55 degree days...this is too much summer too soon.

    Saw a mention that to date, the US is running ahead of the all-time tornado count for a year. The article continued that with a relatively calm week ahead across the country, we'll drop back below the record pace.

    Actually, today's normal high of 59 comes in the midst of a several day period where the normal high is 60. It was 60 on Friday and Saturday and returns to 60 tomorrow.
