    Could not disagree more. Flyers are worlds better as far as watchability and future. They literally just beat the defending Champs last night. Other than a few games they are in every one. They also lead the NHL with 8 wins when entering the 3rd period losing.

    I had 2 sub-minus 20 lows that month...a -21 and a -22. Needed a jacket those mornings.

    One thing that I find extremely encouraging is that there are no tell-tale signs of winter's demise. Even with relaxes there's plenty of winter showing itself in the extended period.

    Regarding next week, I'm a little skeptical of the current forecast high temp. For example, for today, CTP had my forecast high of 21 back on Saturday. It's currently 25 and likely heading for at least the upper 20s. That's a big miss. Historically, warmth seems to be constantly under-forecasted and cold seems to be over-forecasted. I think next week will be very cold...not sure we'll see highs in the mid teens. At least based off what has happened more often than not.

    Went to the Flyers - Panthers game tonight. What a great time, great game with the Flyers coming back twice to beat the Stanley Cup Champs. And such a stark contrast from the Sixers in energy and effort. Flyers are a team worthy of my money. They. Don't. Quit.

    You beat me to it! I just came to spill the juice. LOL Rumor - McCarthy to Steel and Tomlin to the Metroplex. Heard that on the the CBS game yesterday. I can't imagine that happening.

    31 this morning in Maytown. My not so well thought out house purchase 28 years ago is almost void of all snow cover now on my grass. Too much full exposure to the sun.

    You left out Jacksonville. I actually started rooting for them when they entered the NFL before the kids came. They are the epitome of suckage. Though...they had New England on the ropes back in 2017 when they made their miraculous run to the AFC Championship behind Blake Bortles. Crazy stat about Bortles - he is the only QB to win twice in the same season at Heinz Field.

    While the Steelers are my team, I am far less passionate about them as the ones that I listed. I grew up a Baltimore Colts fan and when they broke my heart and moved to Indy in 1984 I refused to follow them. I didn't have a favorite NFL team for years until my son became a Steelers fan and I got into them with him.

    Our daughter is in Vermont skiing this weekend. I texted her this morning asking what the temp was, her reply was "it's actually not that cold dad...it's -8." #thatsmygirl
