  1. One of those Florida locations was Titusville - always get excited going across the Indian River near Titusville on all of our cruises out of Port Canaveral. I can't help but smile every time I think of Titusville. There's your useless info for the day in response to your super-useful temp post.
  2. Was there precip in the forecast? I haven't seen any mention of anything for my area specifically.
  3. It's breezy here at work, work campus is on top of a hill so it's often somewhat breezy. Nothing really to speak of here at all though.
  4. Yes - suppression city on the GFS. Given seasonal trends, maybe not a bad thing for us?
  5. 12z GFS OP run...yikes. No snow for the SE half of PA through hour 384.
  6. Always appreciate reading your detailed observations in the Philly thread - thank you for sharing them here.
  7. My seasonal snowfall total is now 3.3" after yesterday's event.
  8. It did NOT have much if any ensemble support; however, next week (especially as the week goes on) probably will provide a couple of opportunities, which at this point is what we want. Chances. We can't snow without realistic chances.
  9. "Today’s official snowfall total at @millersvilleu was 0.9 inches before the changeover to rain. This is the first measurable snow of the 2022-2023 winter season, breaking the previous record for latest, first measurable snow (Jan. 21, 2007) by 4 days. Wow!"
  10. Despite getting .67" of rain with temps near 40 last evening, I woke up to piles of snow left in the neighborhood from shoveling efforts as well as some spotty lawn coverage. Probably similar to Bubbler - maybe 10-20% coverage? I only had to travel 2 miles south on my way to work this morning to find no trace of evidence that it had snowed yesterday. Maytown clearly was just inside the "win" zone.
  11. Speaking of measurements, up to .56" of rain now. Temp up to 38.
  12. Being at work, I had to rely on my wife to measure for my records. She said 2"...and don't anyone say anything about it... She already told me it was more than she's used to.
  13. If MU's .9" holds, Lanco still hasn't received a 1" snowfall for the season.
  14. Will there be a fly in the ointment for the bugger storm?
  15. Dry slot is here - and for areas that it didn't reach yet...it shuts off real quick.
  16. It was pretty insistent that it would snow down here. Definitely won that little battle.
  17. Yeah, the NAM and short term meso's left us high and dry. I hedged with them and got taken out behind the woodshed.
  18. GFS did better than a lot of models for sure, but I think (?) the Euro might have been better. GFS had the 2"+ mark well down through Lanco - I don't think southern areas are getting to 2". I thought the Euro had closer to 1" over most of southern Lanco which seems to be a more likely outcome at this point. Jus got past 1" here in Columbia with moderate snow, so we'll see.
  19. 743 actually has 2 accidents in stretch of 4-5 miles and both have entrapments.
