  1. Nope, we're going to get an 11" snowfall in March that is obliterated when it's 67 the next day.
  2. 35 minutes since the last post of ANY kind in the MA thread, and 46 minutes since the last post of any kind in the NYC threads...on 2/6, that's incredible. You typically see more activity than that in July.
  3. 34 here as well - nothing here other than some clouds and a little sun.
  4. It felt really good here during the early afternoon hours but admittedly we were walking at a brisk pace. Might have been different if not so active.
  5. Briefly hit 52 here but has already fallen back to 49 under thicker clouds.
  6. I read that earlier today and said to myself- someone else is posting that. It sure as he'll won't be me.
  7. High here today was 32. @Blizzard of 93 - I just mentioned to you a few days ago to keep on doing what you're doing. That's part of what this thread is about. But as @Bubbler86said this morning, it sure seems like you revolt on people who aren't donning the snow goggles. There's a valid reason for pessimism right now.
  8. Me either. I've yet to read/watch a single met who is excited about snow chances and the pattern. Most are very disinterested.
  9. Wow. I've never experienced anything like that and I have no real interest of doing so in the future. The experience you had might have been my last flight. That was only the 2nd time I've been to DFW. First since AT&T Stadium was built, great view of the stadiums on approach. Work crews were still working hard to plow ice off some of the taxiways.
  10. I was coming on to post about that. One of the more unsettling approaches that I can remember. It was rough...you could definitely feel the tension in the cabin. I will say that once the pilot gor the thing down, he stuck the landing perfectly. Touchdown was smoother than DFW where the weather was ideal.
  11. Lowest temp for the entire month of January in Lancaster was 25. That's crazy.
  12. That's exactly what I'm doing - LIT to DFW and then DFW to MDT.
  13. Did you drive or take the cog railway? Or...did you hike?
  14. Hopefully flying home today. And hopefully the winds back down a little this evening or I'm going to have a rocky flight into MDT. Not scheduled to arrive until late evening so hopefully winds come down some. Local forecast for MDT suggests that it will...somewhat.
  15. What impresses me the most about that forecast? Even up on Mt. Washington, which has the worst weather conditions in the east, it will be about 60 degrees warmer on Sunday than today.
  16. Snow over my house with the low over Jamestown NY. Makes sense.
  17. Over the past couple of days there have been enough models during enough model cycles that want to raise my hope level up a few notches...and then I read this from MU today - I'd honestly love for this to be wrong...but he sure is holding steady and seems rather...emphatic: #PunxsutawneyPhil saw his shadow this morning & predicted 6 more weeks of #WINTER, but I certainly don't agree with his forecast. All signs point toward above-avg temps, in aggregate, & little snow during #February2023.
  18. Yeah, I hate to see early vegetation. And it seems like the more that I've thrown myself into gardening the more aware of it I've become. If we get too warm for a few days over the next few weeks... #itsmowingtimeagain
  19. I agree with this - never did I think I would until the past few years. I'm now thoroughly enjoying AN temperatures if it isn't going to snow. Much nicer to get out and walk around in.
