61 here now as well. When you posted about THV's 20 degree rise earlier, I was wayyy behind. My biggest temp spike today has happened over the past 90 minutes. Forecast high is 68, at 11am I was still in the 40s and 68 seemed way off. It's in range now.

I typed " B U B B L E R " and that is how it read after I typed it. I think that 3 days over 80 on the last week of October is a heatwave. I got yelled at by a staff member this morning because I was walking across our campus at 7am in short sleeves. I laughed.

The great Bubbler fall heatwave of 2023 looking more and more impressive as the week goes on - at a minimum, 5 straight days into the 70s and potentially up to 3 days reaching 80.

Not often - I'd have to check my records when I'm home, but it's not many. First frost has certainly waited until November but I'd bet most of those years still featured October mornings in the mid to high 30s.
