  1. First time the sun has been out in earnest here - temp has shot up to 85. Small cell just across the river from me moving east...
  2. I see very little chance of storms here overnight. Trigger will be moving off the coast.
  3. Legit watch for probably a large portion of the area covered, not so sure about the western part:
  4. MU Weather Center @MUweather Strong thunderstorms are exploding across eastern PA and will continue to intensify early this afternoon. Large hail, damaging winds, and localized flooding are likely in spots. For now, however, it looks like the Lower Susquehanna Valley should be spared.
  5. Hopefully the bats heat up. After Wednesday's game.
  6. LOL! My gut might verify. Congrats Rehoboth!
  7. Very weak but noticeable line is forming now which extends from Dauphin county SW through eastern Adams - I hope this doesn't end up being the show. CTP this morning seemed to indicate that the best chance of storms was actually early afternoon. (supposed to be out of my area by 4pm) I'm starting to get an uneasy feeling that a lot of us might not see much rain today. And I'm in a better spot than a lot of you and I still don't feel good.
  8. Wash, rinse repeat. The randomness of summer showers has had no mercy on it's persistence of missing your area.
  9. That is true... I left work yesterday at 4:30 and hit a heavy shower from the north end of Columbia through much of Marietta - I'm guessing you missed out on that somehow.
  10. Crushed you with a big .07" from yesterday morning. LOL
  11. Wait...there were storms around last night? Nothing here. Congrats to those that lost sleep.
  12. I've only been there once - I just thought I'd throw it out there sort of as a courtesy that something might be affecting a lot of people outdoors.
  13. No idea, I just assumed there were a lot of people there.
  14. Orioles exhausted the bullpen over the weekend in Tampa - score runs early and it's all over.
  15. I'm at 12 ninety degree days. At this point it would have to hit 90 almost every day until the end of August to catch up to the 47 that I had just 3 years ago. That's for my station. Comparatively, MU had 38 days of 90+ in 2020. (they're only at 9 or 10 so far this year)
  16. Yep - really high rates at the core of that thing.
  17. And once again, it's the overnights that are the culprit.
  18. CTP isn't saying much at all about tomorrow - only 30% POPs even over here. SPC sees the threat mainly south and east:
  19. MU banging the severe beat for tomorrow: A vigorous, upper-level disturbance will traverse the mid-Atlantic States tomorrow and combine with extreme amounts of moisture and instability to trigger scattered strong-to-severe thunderstorms across northern MD and southeastern PA between ~1-8 PM..
