That's kind of what I was saying. I love cold weather, but there comes a point in time when it almost doesn't even "make sense" any longer. If it's March 1st, cold and windy as all get out with snow opportunities for snow on the horizon...let's spring forward.

It would be quite "unfortunate" if late Feb/early March features partly sunny, brisk days with highs around 40 and zero precip.

Well said. We're going to have realistically about 35 days (2/15 - 3/21) to make a lot of ground. At least there are indications that it could happen. Like you said, it would be beneficial if we get a double digit storm to advance our cause.

I can only go by what I've read...I realize it's a risky proposition to make a statement like I did until there's evidence confirming it. When I was growing up in the 1970s, every MLB team wanted to be like Baltimore..."The Orioles Way" was what it was referred to. The franchise that was run right and played the game right. That started fading in the 1980s... Baltimore, and it's baseball fans have deserved so much better for years, and today marks a new beginning with new hope a whole lot to look forward to with the talent that has been assembled. I wasn't sure I'd be around to say that I'm proud of my team again.

A low of just 35 here after a high of 38 yesterday. Foggy this morning as well.

The long-rage looks from mid-month on has remained remarkably consistent. Cautiously excited for winter to end with a bang.

I don't question other's data out of respect, I'm choosing to assume people are posting data with integrity. I also wouldn't appreciate if others questioned my numbers other than for clarification if something seems completely off. Having said that... that specific stat you mentioned did catch my eye. I hit 97 twice for comparison.

But the posters in question have a big difference - the poster sharing DuBois stats does not live in DuBois, at least to my knowledge. Chescowx is posting info from HIS station. And I know this sounds sorta ticky tacky, but there are a crap ton of Lancaster County posters. All of us live within 45 minutes of Chesco, and many are much closer than that. Other than Atomix and our Clearfield friend, no regular poster in our thread lives anywhere remotely close to DuBois. It's really not an even comparison. Also - I welcomed CC to post anything he damn well wants as long as it's evened out. He is ONLY posting to fit his agenda. Nothing else. At least not in our thread.

I'm at 10" for the season - 2 weeks ago I shoveled for the first time since 2021.

At least 4 of us now with a C- (You, Me, Canderson, and MJS) and we got there for the same reasons.

I have multiple extended family members living in and around Jacksonville. Trying to convince my wife to become Duvall proud!
