  1. MU getting a littler overdramatic this morning: (1/2) Following Sunday's cold frontal passage, NW winds are ushering a much chillier air mass into the mid-Atlantic States. An upper-level disturbance moving through the Commonwealth will cause skies to turn mostly cloudy in southeastern PA, northern MD & the LSV after midday.. (2/2) High temps will be around 5-10°F below avg. & range from the low-to-mid 40s N/W of I-78/81 to around 50°F in the I-95 corridor. Due to persistent, 12-25 mph winds with gusts up to 35 mph, wind chills will be in the 30s most of the time. Time to break out the coats again!
  2. How much do you think we can shave off the departure by the end of the month?
  3. How does a low running interstate 80 in Ohio and a high due east off the Atlantic manage to snow anywhere in PA? Not a critique - honest question. That doesn't look like a snow set up to me in early January let alone late March.
  4. 37 for the low in Maytown this morning. Nice short sleeve polo kind of day.
  5. The thread has lost one of the final 2 snow warriors for the 23-24 season. Blizz is running solo now.
  6. And to add, the guy from MU was calling for 60 today.
  7. I wasn't trying to complain or argue with you. I was only making an observation that the actual high today was way higher than what State College forecast, which unfortunately is not uncommon. My high today was 11 degrees higher than forecast. That's worth posting about.
  8. CTP had me down for 52 today as of last night's update. It's an even 62 now.
  9. Nothing close to that here - latest obs from MU was sustained 7 mph gust to 15.
  10. Partly Sunny with a current temp well above the forecast high (again) of 59. Another beautiful day to be outside.
  11. Okay...time for Saturday night confessions from HR - I read this post and my first thought was "no shit...I knew this 4 hours ago." So, I'm getting a shower 15 minutes later and the bell went off... OHHHHH- JUST -IN! Fields.
  12. Sunny skies and temps soaring now, up to 58 at 1pm. What a spectacular day!
  13. 0.02" of rain here. Tons of lightning with little reward. Forecast high today is 68 - at 11am it's 70 degrees. 70 - at 11am...
  14. Temp went up with the shower here - 63 at 1:30am.
  15. Maybe not but Ohio is only under a SLGT and that came pretty late in the game. Seems to me like this is turning into a bigger deal than a lot of much more hyped events.
  16. Just got home to discover that my neighbor mowed again today. I can't even win the battle of my street. I saw others out mowing on my way home as well.
  17. You are correct, it was Tuesday. I was wrong again. Head isn't on straight right now.
  18. Nice to see the fine accommodations available at the Cobblestone for those vacationing in R-Ville!
  19. Yesterday's 12z GFS had temps in the 20s the morning of Opening Day (March 28th) with highs in the 40s. Today's 12z GFS for the same date has lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s.
  20. R-Ville is just north of Pen Mar, correct? Just made it to 77 here.
