  1. The Euro runs that I saw were WAY to dry - I think some only showed around .5"? I ended up with 1.26" of QPF. So, a solid 1" of rain after the full transition.
  2. My son say he's routinely driving 90+ around Houston. Sigh.
  3. I remember the day before the storm, Rehoboth was to get 1-3" and pretty much nothing north of Sussex County. Ended up getting more at home than at the shore.
  4. I do not. I was in Rehoboth Beach for a winter vacation that week.
  5. The ensembles were terrible for here with this storm. Period.
  6. MDT measurement seems a little low...not sure it's that far off. I'm not that far away and only had a few extra tenths; however, my temp fluctuated between 31 and 32 while it snowed. Looks like MDT was running 33-34?
  7. @Mount Joy Snowman @Superstorm one thing just struck me - one big failure on virtually every model was the predicted sharp contrast across the county. All of us ended up within a couple of tenths of an inch. Interesting.
  8. Lanco official measurement was 2.2". That is 1.3" more than last year's season total.
  9. Yes - it will be yet another event where no shoveling is needed.
  10. Thanks for posting this - I forgot to post my final total. 2.4" here. Remarkably similar.
  11. Pouring rain and some sleet. 2" even on the ground and compacting. Almost every single snow map for here was way too high Stunning.
  12. We just can't catch a break the past few years. Nothing surprising for us today.
  13. Wind-driven rain. Where did this wind come from?
  14. I assumed I would see sleet when it let up, but it's plain light rain here.
  15. Moderate to heavy snow just morphed into a light rain/mist here in less than a minute's time. 1.9" total snow so far.
  16. Elliott is giddy about the 1/17 to 1/22 time-frame. He's talking about it today instead of what's falling now. Sounds like he thinks next weekend is too soon and that storm cuts.
  17. Roads have finally caved here. 33 with moderate snow. Still under 1".
  18. I measured 5" between 4pm and 5pm during that storm with a LOT of lightning and thunder.
  19. Approaching moderate intensity- temp above freezing now at 33.
  20. After 2 hours: Snowfall past hour: .3" Total snowfall: .5" Slightly less on the ground. -SN, 32 degrees.
  21. Yeah, nothing much happening. I'm losing more than gaining.
  22. It's been one hour since the onset: .2" fell in the first hour Roads here are 90% wet Temp is 32.
  23. Light snow has commenced. No sleet. Temp down a notch to 31.
  24. Some of the MD posters are sharing that the sleet changed to snow once the rates picked up. Encouraging.
