  1. Models vs forecasters - the big boys paint a fraction of that amount:
  2. GFS is dry for most of us along the southern tier until sometime Sunday. Rain is mostly north of the 'pike on Saturday.
  3. Looks like maybe .5" - 1" which would be very helpful, especially if it's a soaker and not a deluge.
  4. Yes it is - missed out on the last couple of opportunities and I can see the difference already.
  5. Embiid had what?...like 10 turns? Gutsy win though. Sixers will probably break our hearts at home now. LOL
  6. Same - up to 87 here as well. It's very summer-y out there.

  8. The faces change around him...the results stay the same. A pedestrian 85 here.
  9. I've asked myself this dozens of times over the past 4 years: Would I rather watch a team that goes 25-57 and is rebuilding? (again) Would I rather watch a team that goes 50-32 and you know will not go far in the postseason with Embiid? I keep going back to option #1. Look at what OKC has done after shedding all of those contracts. They are one of the best teams in the Association and are the youngest #1 seed EVER. Their average age is 23 years, 9 months. That's ridiculous. It's a model that a certain baseball team in Maryland has done pretty well with as well. I hope...and hope...and hope - that #21 is gone. This/he ain't working.
  10. 81 at 11:50am - a couple of notches lower than yesterday at this time.
  11. I'm assuming that everyone at least got into the 80s yesterday?
  12. Checked it out -flights every Sunday and Thursday plus additional dates of high demand. (directly before and after major holidays) Interesting.
  13. Hopefully passengers aren't feeling a breeze at 35,000'...
  14. I haven't flown out of LNS in years - I used to quite a bit when I was younger. They definitely had passenger jets years ago. I try really hard not to fly these days and don't keep up with what's going on. I came into the office later this morning as I have an early evening meeting. In the span of my 20 minute drive the temp went from 70 up to 77!
  15. Over the years, both Horst and Elliott would refer to Lanco's official numbers as being recorded at MU. I must have misunderstood what they were communicating. At any rate, thank you for the clarification. I honestly thought all along that our official numbers were recorded in Millersville. Learned something new today!
  16. 89.3 was my highest temp today. Held off the 90s for now.
  17. Lancaster record falls by 2 degrees so far - now up to 89 officially.
  18. 88 at 2pm - I believe an official record has already been broken in Lancaster. (previous record was 87)
