  1. Clean sweep by the overnight major league models - Euro is a solid 7-14" for much of our area, with parts of MD, VA & DE dealing with 18-24".
  2. Canadian is 6-12" for the LSV and an incredible 15-30" for MD/DE.
  3. GFS is MUCH better for the LSV. Looks like warning amounts, especially east of I81. Decent snows farther N&W.
  4. Icon tonight - seems like more and more guidance is showing this:
  5. Wife's can of beer at the Flyers game 2 weeks back was $16.50. Michelob Ultra...nothing high end. LOL My bottle of water checked in at the value price of $7.
  6. Our oldest son is there right now too. I told him to stay off of the poles...
  7. I guess it's going to get windy later on: URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service State College PA 431 PM EST Thu Feb 13 2025 PAZ036-056>059-063>066-140300- /O.NEW.KCTP.WI.Y.0004.250213T2131Z-250214T0300Z/ Franklin-Perry-Dauphin-Schuylkill-Lebanon-Cumberland-Adams-York- Lancaster- Including the cities of Lebanon, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Carlisle, Chambersburg, Hershey, York, Pottsville, Newport, and Gettysburg 431 PM EST Thu Feb 13 2025 ...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...West-northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * WHERE...Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuylkill, and York Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. 8. Wow...all this without a Wind Advisory. I know nothing about this model...if only...
  9. My wife literally just texted me asking me why I didn't warn her about the wind, she said it sounds like the house is coming down. I don't hear a thing here in the office.
  10. Indeed it was. Yesterday, there was a WWA for the entire CTP area...except Lancaster and York. In fact, every county in PA north and west of here had some sort of advisory...this happens a LOT. When I saw the Euro snow map (this is why I hate snow maps, because I get sucked into these things) I had to "laugh" that even with a storm off the east coast, areas west of here still managed to do better than we do. It's uncanny.
  11. Minima is the lowest value within a sequence of numbers - the minima for our region on that map was in Lanco. I was having fun at our expense.
  12. I still feel good about next week. Not sure about a "big dog" but I feel like a warning event is something we can realistically hope for...
  13. I didn't see the Euro 6z but today's 12z looks way less amped to me than the overnight run?
  14. Euro says "hello, snow minima" to me and @Mount Joy Snowman
  15. Just saw that - even with the various models that are misses, they won't require much for a better outcome.
  16. I wholeheartedly approve of working in AC. In fact, I approve of doing just about anything indoors in AC.
  17. So, she's working for Bears FT now? Trying to remember...I know at one time she worked for or was interning with the Senators but I thought she latched on FT with Hershey.
  18. I watched the game, I was thinking of the 2 of you. Hope you had a great time. Memories to last forever.
