Airport at 63 sustained and gusting to 83 as you mention that.

New Orleans lake front now sustained at 66 gusting to 84. Highest sustained thus far today.

Something that hasn't been talked about much is the lake surge. Gonna continue for a few more hours at least too as the eyewall nears.

Looks like part of the outer eyewall is gonna brush most of New Orleans, baring a wobble.

Nope just a moat, inner eyewall is gonna at least skirt the area.

Yeah I agree, there has been an obvious detrition of the west eyewall. Doesn't matter much at this point though, catastrophic landfall is pretty much set in stone.
