    Tons of graupel in West Seneca but didn’t see any lightning/hear thunder.

    Man awesome chase. 2-3” an hour rates. Stayed at the South Gate Plaza in West Seneca for almost an hour. Snowing the hardest right as I left but needed to head home because of the kids so didn’t get the extreme 3”+ on video. Thank god I got my snow fix in haha. West Seneca is gonna get absolutely destroyed tonight. That band shows no signs of letting up or moving from there. Got some great video, sent it to Rich he’s gonna upload later and share.

    Then why did the lake effect snow warning go into effect at noon today? Seems silly if nothing is expected for 24 more hours.

    Yep weaksauce. This event is toast for the city and Northtowns. At least we got over 5 inches last night to have a nice white Christmas and it’s more than our friends to our east could say. Maybe someone in the Boston Hills gets a foot but I’m not impressed anymore.

    That’s not the lake band. The lake band is just now starting to set up unorganized in Chaut/Catt/Srn Erie.

    Where I do all of my shopping on Transit lol. Crazy how built up it is there in the last few years. So your pretty far North and East in Williamsville. We likely have the same chance of getting in the band as opposed to if you were in south east Williamsville near Lancaster.

    Where in Williamsville are you located? What’s your nearest intersection? Just trying to get reference of where you are because Williamsville is pretty large.

    Gonna be a razor sharp northern cutoff on nearly every model now. TS were either just gonna get in or were just gonna miss.hopefully that 5 mile northward bump happens cause then we should be good otherwise we may be watching painfully as a few miles to our south gets another 1 foot + .

    I think we have a chance to see it in the metro this evening and then again tomorrow during the late morning/afternoon. Besides that it should stay to our south. Haven’t measured but looks to be about the same as you eyeballing.

    Snowing good but only 0.4” on the snowboard here in the last 2 hours. Have a pinger or two mixing in from time to time again. It’s gonna be a fine fine line here all night long. 31.8 F

    All snow here. Went from all rain to sleet to snow in about a 15 minute span. Hopefully those thicknesses don’t creep back west at all. Hope they push east past the Genesee Valley and surprise some Roc peeps.

    I swear if I wake up to green grass tomorrow I’m done with this winter. Cleveland’s gotten blasted numerous times, Toronto is about to get blasted again, BGM sees more snow in 12 fricken hours than we probably will all season. Everyone around us is seeming to be able to cash in except for us. Now this thing cuts further west and the bulk of the lake effect stays over the southtowns. Man o man, sometimes I really wonder why I choose the weather as a hobby haha.

    Matt are you in BUF right now lol? Can’t make this stuff up. If we’re gonna miss it by a few miles after being a lock for the better part of the last 2-3 days that’s really gonna be the cherry on top to 2020. I’d rather be in Cuse and miss it by 150-200 miles than miss it by 20 miles. Gotta take a break from the models for tonight or I’m gonna lose it, if I haven’t already lol.
