Yeah I mean naturally as we head into September there is going to be less 90's. But regardless this last stretch of August will rack up some more.
Nonethless, I think we will extend summer into fall like we've been doing.
Eh, been seeing people post about less daylight since the day after the solstice, and that it won't be long etc...
Decreasing average temps just mean that the 90's we get are racking up bigger +departures.
Little bit under 1.5" here. Had some very heavy downpours but I guess it wasn't long enough to really add up.
Not bad though considering the 2.5" on Saturday. That's a 4" dent into the drought.
Haven't seen it rain that hard for that long in awhile. Four stations in town are between 2.0"-2.5" which is pretty surprising. I'll gladly take it though.
Yeah since 2015 it's hard to bet against the endless summer pattern like bluewave alludes to. And it doesn't necessarily have to be in the 90's for it to be AN once we get into September.
49 last night. Not sure I remember a cooler night this far into June. The house is 68 degrees.
Today should be better with the sun. Hoping for July we can turn on the heat switch and get some heatwaves going.
Around the .6" mark since midnight for most stations by me. See what comes of today before a really nice Sunday and Memorial Day. So much better than last year.
Despite this nice stretch of weather, and it being mid-April, I have yet to hear a single peeper. I feel like it gets later every year. Used to hear them start in March.
