Dry slot is holding here at my house. Nothing hitting the ground. I am about where Coppell, Flower Mound, and Lewisville city limits touch together. Just west of 35.

Usually during winter weather I enjoy the snow and even the sleet. Today I am hoping to get dry slotted in my little corner of DFW.

Well as of 8:04 am we have power so..........

Well, a literal cold slap in the face of 10 mins of power at approximately 4 am. That makes 10 mins of power for the last 36 hours I believe that here in Lewisville the “rolling blackouts” that were supposed to share the burden became “we don’t trust the grid so those of you don’t have power, won’t have power”. Fun times.

I am over 24 hrs now without power. It’s a bit chilly in the house.

Of course the nastiest days of the year are when I realize that my room humidifier in my guitar room needs a new filter. It wasn’t bad out there on the roads yet when I made the careful trip to Lowes but, it looks like it will be soon.

It’s the DFW snow hole opening up.

I moved here (Lewisville TX) from Eastern NC and this is my fourth winter here. I brought the snow hole with me. LOL

Oh, and we had Tornado warnings last night too.

LOL. Just stopping by to say hello and that I am watching a little snow shower here 15 miles north of downtown Dallas this morning. Hope you guys get some snow soon.
