  1. I think that’s DT’s model of choice for this storm. He based his first guess off of that. I won’t comment on the lameness of calling something first guess.
  2. Starting the entire series is on my weekend list.
  3. Good gawd. If anyone saw my deleted post… What I was trying to say is that Blantons is my favorite but hard to get. But if you’re looking for a good mixing bourbon, you can’t go wrong with Evan Williams Bottled in Bond. Thirty bucks for a 1.75L bottle and 100 proof.
  4. But you can drive to it easily. And DFH? In the snow??? Epic.
  5. There’s a lot that I remember. You were the first to get a storm right in February 2004? Maybe 2005? I suck at dates. But it was a rain or snow call and there was a wall of snow that stopped at Ji’s house. It was the last time I remember him happy, but he’s on ignore now, so what do I know. But when the wall finally caved, we all got a great, unexpected snowfall. It was a Saturday. I know that because I went to a potluck dinner with the best bunch of red neck crabbers in Delmarva down on the Gunpowder River. Ate oysters and drank beer in the snow.
  6. @WEATHER53, remember the Halloween forecast you did on 936-1212? I do. It was awesome. That’s you, man. Be cool.
  7. After 25 years, there are a lot of stories. Vendors are a strange breed.
  8. Funny story. When I was vendor at Camden Yards for all those years, we’d hang out after all the games over at Sliders. Every now and then a couple of players would roll in and one night it was Scott Erickson. I happened to be taking a leak at one of the urinals and he came in and used the urinal next to me. I looked up at him with the straightest face I could muster and said, “Nice bat for a pitcher.” He zipped up, flushed, called me an asshole and walked out. When I came out there was a beer on the bar for me from him.
  9. I thought with the +150, he meant 150%. This is why I never bet. If there isn’t a stooge at the table, you’re the stooge.
  10. Come on, man. You’ve got a bigger wiener than that. Go big or go home.
  11. I had to look up where Lucketts is located. There are some decent breweries near there, right? It’s not an area that I’ve explored enough.
  12. Tonight: Old Fashioned, Martini, Mojito, Moscow Mule, Mai Tai, Gin/Tonic, Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Pina Colada, Any flavor Daiquiri. Sitting at a bar watching the sunset after a hot summer day of crabbing and drinking Natty Bohs: Mai Tai, Mojito, Pina Colada, Old Fashioned, Gin/Tonic, Any flavor Daiquiri, Moscow Mule, Margarita, Martini, Cosmo
  13. This is tough. Are we ranking these based on the eve of a giant surprise storm, or a summer day, or …
  14. I’ll gladly take that band that looks like it’s trying to set up here.
