  1. 2 - 2.5” across central MD by tomorrow evening?!? That would be awesome, though I’d be happy with half that.
  2. Perfect night for a concert at Merriweather. Garbage was awesome and waiting now for Tears for Fears. You’ll hear me shout.
  3. Lots of videos. Just Google “weather soundings tutorial”
  4. Days like this at the beach make for slow, picture perfect waves.
  5. Feels like it’s starting to cool down. Nice evening to start summer break.
  6. I zoomed in and the estimate at my house was 1.47" and my recorded total is 1.53". Pretty darn good.
  7. At work at Hampden and heavy heavy rain.
  8. Hrrr has been showing a decent hit for central MD this evening for a few runs now.
  9. Morning AFD from LWX is at least hopeful. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&issuedby=LWX&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1&highlight=off
  10. I'll be curious to hear how your hubby fares using the paxlovid. If you don't mind me asking, is he vaxed? My 91 year old father is unvaxed and if he catches covid, I'm worried his only hope is paxlovid, though, of course, he wants ivermectin. The new normal sucks.
  11. Got .23” last evening. Fingers crossed for at least another .50” tonight. eta. After looking at the morning model runs, I may have to temper my expectations.
  12. Stellar evening in the backyard with a rye whiskey before bed. Finally saw my first lightning bug of the season too. But only one so far.
  13. Working in the yard today and pollen crushed me. Beautiful day though
  14. Must be June. @WxUSAF is trolling for the drought thread again.
  15. The models I've looked at don't look too enthused for this afternoon in my area. I hope that they're wrong. I've got some new gutters I'd like to try out. Unrelated, but the only time I adjust my mower from the highest setting is the last mow of the season around Thanksgiving to prepare my yard for snow.
  16. That surprises me. Though May had more rain, I thought April was cloudier.
  17. Nice Memorial Day on tap, and a good May for most of us as we enter summer. The exception being some of the coastal areas assuming the totals are accurate.
  18. Cool. May have to suck it up and drive west for darker skies.
  19. Everyday occurrence in Pikesville!
