    Since I'm a weather dolt, I'll put this here, but the nam looks slightly better with the cad as things start Saturday night. Not sure it means much, but imo it's better than the other direction.

    I'm a recently retired teacher and all day I'd have kids telling me how much it was going to snow. Like most things in my career, and to keep my sanity, I just smiled and nodded.

    I keep looking at the NWS US map and shaking my head. Once NE gets winter storm watches, nearly two-thirds of the country will have watches or warnings because of this storm. And it goes on for at least several days. I haven't been this excited for winter weather in a long, long time.

    It’s been a couple days since reading it, but this afternoon is when the northern energy would be in good sampling range. Fingers crossed that there are some positive changes.

    So, I know the Euro is getting data from the Pacific, but based on what I read in the LWX AFD earlier, I still feel like models won't have this worked out until the northern stream is sampled better. I think I read that that won't happen until later tomorrow. Is there anyone still awake that's in the know?

    I had to work the brewery tonight so just got caught up. Tonight’s the beginning of better euro runs and even better tomorrow when the northern stream gets sampled!
