    Our latest sunrise of the year is the first week of November, but this first week of January is really close. The problem for me is that it’s such a long stretch from late October to late January before we start to see any improvement. Of course, if the time change law gets enacted, then sunrise is 8:30. eta: Gorgeous sunrise today though!

    I haven’t watched as many games as normal this year, but there have been times when the passing has been so sharp and crisp. Not there though.

    Rough last few months here with Dad passing and girlfriend moving on, but I will always survive and be better for it. And Christmas will always be my favorite season.

    Anecdotally, I don’t need any stats to know that our winters are getting worse. Not as cold, less snow events, and shortened periods of snow on ground.

    We are celebrating Christmas with family in Olney today, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d be scanning the skies for flakes. Beautiful afternoon.
