Just a guess, but I’ll bet they’ll do what they can to get tonight’s game in because tomorrow evening looks troublesome too. Especially with an NL team in town.
Today has been another groin kick as areas north, south, and east of me got at least into a good half hour dumping, but nothing here.

My forecast calls for low chance of showers today and the real stuff arrives this evening. So, yeah, this is either bonus rain or the beginning of a bust!
Personally, I’m keeping my expectations lower than some of the wetter predictions I’ve seen, but I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get more than an inch the next 48 hours.
Got the grass cut just before the steadier light rain got here. It was pretty easy and very fast since when I say that I cut the grass, I really mean it in the singular form.
Frankly, I’m surprised the lawn looks this good after 1.50” the past seven weeks. Though I did water once a couple of weeks ago.
Oh my God. It’s raining!
It’s going to be funny in two weeks when we are all screaming, “Uncle!,” after we get 4” in the next week followed by a deluge of tropical remnants.
LWX going “likely” for Wednesday’s chances.
As someone smarter than me once said, “Theres an old saying in Tennessee.. …I know it’s in Texas, but probably in Tennessee, that says, ‘Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me… … you can’t get fooled again.’”
