  1. Scored a couple of tickets to Manor Hills fall beer fest. What a weekend!
  2. She does it all the time. I think it’s the heat more than the flame.
  3. We are transitioning into the best time of the year.
  4. The Dogtonerfest is a solid beer when you’re having more than one. like Schaffer
  5. I did. He said this recipe is “killing it.” My guess is that this is way cheaper and more people drink it. No plans to bring the other one back.
  6. Duh. Yes, it’s the porter. But KI next Thursday may work out. @mattie g ugh. I’d probably need beer to go to that.
  7. Lol. Daaaaammmmnnnnnn. They took off the oyster stout off the taps this evening for the Kujo. I’m having that on nitro. Also, will move this conversation to banter from here forward
  8. They’ve got at least a 12 pack of the Kujo here to go. Let me know if you want me to it pick it up for you and meet on Kent Island next week. It’s $1.67 a bottle
  9. I was just going to say the nam looks awesome. These north trends remind me of 09-10. Heading to Flying Dog now. First up will be the oyster stout.
  10. My Stihl trimmer is nearing 20 years old and it’s been puttering and stalling for the past year or two making it a real chore of cutting the grass. I thought it was water in the gas, bad lines, or a dirty fuel filter, but changing all of those just brought on a temporary fix. Finally did a little research and thought what the heck, let’s try changing the carburetor. Holy crap, what a difference. It feels brand new. Starts fast, idles well, and the trigger is super responsive. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed working on the landscaping.. I’ve just finished cutting what’s left of the burned up yard, and now I’m going to aerate and seed. Next spring will be here before we know it (ie, January 20th or so).
  11. 1.49” here, but there were quite a few dried up dusty bugs in the gauge, so I’m going with 1.47”
  12. Yeah, I'll be trying the original black beauty too. I only want tall fescue varieties and don't want any kentucky blue in my yard. Thanks for the info! I'll be aerating and seeding on Friday.
  13. I don't know if you saw it, but the 12z nam12k has a total precip bullseye right over your house.
  14. Was it you that recommended a grass seed brand for shady areas?
  15. Correct me if I’m wrong but to me, that’s a great location for that trough for the eastern seaboard if you like coastal storms.
  16. Yeah, we just got rain-nam'd. eta: not as good as I initially thought.
  17. Over the last 24 hours, each run of the gfs has gotten better for rainfall along the corridor, so hopefully it will be more in line with the euro later today. I'll take anything, but if I can eek out an inch or more of precip, I'd be thrilled. There also looks like another decent chance of another soaking next week.
  18. Beautiful out! Hopefully the Nats don't crap the bed like the Braves are doing.
  19. The lack of rain has made it similar to snow. It only matters for my backyard. Now, or ever?
  20. Nam is better too. Not great or even good, but better.
  21. Desperate times calls for desperate measures, and at the risk of having trash thrown at me, the long term HRRR looks better at 12z than it did at 6z if you like the euro. Fire away.
  22. Holy smokes. I know you guys have been talking about the euro's solution over the past day or two, but I had no idea it was such a good hit for many of us. Probably about .75" for me between 4AM and noon tomorrow, and even better to the east. It seems a little early for model wars but hopefully it's right.
  23. 0.13" here. Still less than half an inch since August 25th.
