  1. It's always something. For me, it's a patch of bermuda grass. A couple of years ago I found an affordable product that works well at controlling, but it's no longer available because it was found to be killing honey bees. I need to find a few people that want to go in on a small bottle of Pylex.
  2. Plenty here. AND a nice cool and comfortable garage with a pool table. Give me a head’s up when you’re in the area.
  3. It’s very cool that you have records that far back. Thanks for looking.
  4. And here I thought all this time that @losetoa6 was just being grumpy.
  5. It’s a silky smooth chocolate milk stout carbonated with nitrogen. But16 oz is a lot, and I’ll be tired of it half way through. Interesting instructions on the can too. It’s a really thin beer. A lot going on flavor-wise, but no body.
  6. Just got done a bike ride and I need a recovery drink so I’ll join you.
  7. @wxdude64 Im curious. How many of your August’s since 1980 have not had a 90 degree day?
  8. I’d have loved to see them sneak in this year with the expanded playoff format, but not at the expense of the future. Good to see them dealing.
  9. Lol. I wasn’t trying to steal anyone’s fishing spots. Especially for catch and release bass fishing, Heck, I don’t mind sharing my crabbing spots, and this is just bass that you throw back. EJ, thanks for the info, but I don’t think that’s the spot that I was thinking of. You mentioned another house several times and I can’t remember the name. It may have been Pleasant Valley, but looking at a map, I don’t think that’s it. I had The name and called them back in May or June and they said that the pond was C and R and open to the public, so I was going to check it out. Back to my whiskey...
  10. Hagerstown dew is 63. Frederick still 72, but it’s getting close. I'm going to get a good buzz on and go for a long walk later and pretend it’s fall.
  11. Nice. I still need to get out on the pond by the firehouse. Would it be worth taking the canoe?
  12. I’m ready for the front to pass through. Another .50” today with about .80” total barring another stray shower.
  13. Getting some great tropical downpours.
  14. Getting some sun trying to break through too. Let’s get some instability up in here!
  15. .31” Right around 7” for the month.
  16. The first line deked to the north and essentially skipped here. The trailing line looks promising.
  17. Lots of thunder and some sprinkles. Muggy out there.
  18. It’s been awhile since the northern crew has gotten some thunderstorm action.
  19. Do you recall which counties, or is there a graphic? eta: I understand too, just wish he hadn’t sounded so negative on the entire state.
  20. I agree with calling out, but I wish he had called them out specifically instead of brushing a broad stroke.
  21. Just a guess, but the logistics for a hybrid model is really complicated and difficult to implement in three months, let alone a week or two. From a county perspective, the most to least complex is hybrid, virtual, fully in-person. As a teacher, I think it’s the same order, but 6 weeks ago when the decision to go fully virtual was made, no one had a clear idea of what our numbers would look like today. So, since then, all efforts have been geared towards making the virtual setting as rigorous as possible. Hogan knows that switching from fully virtual to hybrid is not something that can be done very quickly which really made yesterday’s presser unusual.
