  1. Dude, that sucks. Is it worth taking or selling the trunks to a lumber mill? It would be a shame to waste it all.
  2. We love Frederick. We make it up there several times over the summer months, and the bonus is the awesome knife shop that sells great dart equipment.
  3. Much like @Baltimorewx said, it’s more about the adventure for us. We like going out for a destination hike or bike, supporting local small craft brewers, and trying new brews.
  4. I’m getting my veggies in this weekend so although I’m looking forward to more weather like the last couple of days, the forecast is looking good for the garden.
  5. Also, there’s a pretty big difference between what’s happening along the 95 corridor and far western and eastern shore counties. Hopefully people continue to social distance and not crowd the usual summer destinations.
  6. A very busy couple of days on the back 100. Trimming leylands, mulching, clearing beds, etc. Now it’s beer time on the patio. Jonjon’s triple... eta: oh, my. I wish Jonjon could run faster and he had gotten the aged big boy pants to me. This is awesome.
  7. I’ve decided to organize a protest against the state reopening with a march on Annapolis Saturday. If you’re interested, we will meet at Annapolis Mall, and please sign up here. If you sign up, and if you want to make a statement that we are not ready to open, don’t show up.
  8. I need a water day. Maybe a water week.
  9. I’m sure it will be on demand too.
  10. Anybody else watching Gordon Ramsey save Ellicott City?
  11. I’m not a big strawberry in beer fan because it tends to be too sweet, but jonjons brewery Stumptown’s kettle sour of blueberry and strawberry (Blawberry Smooth-eez) is really good! Good thing. The two of us here just cracked the growler.!
  12. When are breaking out the boat? I’ll be looking at the end of May or early June near the full moon for my first crabbing trip,
  13. Also, right in Cambridge is a park right on the water (Full Sail park??).its easy to see and find.
  14. Another baseball startup being talked about, though still needs player’s union approval, so not a done deal. https://apnews.com/6195fbe572aa83a0616053e9133a8551?utm_source=Twitter&utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_medium=AP_Sports
  15. The really torchy torch area in that map makes me think Ravensrule made it.
  16. I've lost too many young plants in the past so I waited. I'll put my stuff in this week. Hoping everyone else fared as well as you.
  17. Damn. I'm really sorry we didn't see you, but man, Siriannis' pizza is good! Just had a couple of slices for dinner and now getting into the Porter.
  18. I’ve got two more videos to make for class tomorrow and then I’m out to the patio to have a couple of beers from yesterday. Thanks, again. We really enjoyed ourselves.
  19. 35 here at 6am. It was breezy by the time I checked the temperature, so I don’t know if it was calmer and possibly chillier before then.
  20. Yeah, man. Sorry that it didn’t work out this weekend, but we love it up there, so there will plenty of other opportunities.
  21. @jonjon is telling lies. I wasn’t the one in control of the tap handles. We had a great day trip. Snow squalls on the way out, light snow during our hike through Swallow Falls, and then a social distance hang out with JonJon at the brewery. Their beers are exceptional and it was great getting some tips for my home brews. We decided that we need to organize a MA trip out there when the quarantine is over, and why not? They’ve got a new rental directly over the brewery that would be perfect for a sizable gang, so no reason not to start thinking about it. Back to the beers, @mattie g would be proud to know that he helped inspire a Russian Imperial Stout that was still in the fermenter, so definitely a reason for a return trip. We got to sample several of the draft beers, but in the end, we couldn’t decide so just opted on buying a 4-pack of everything available. Also got a growler of one of the sours not in cans. Luckily, we forgot to bring one of the dozen empty growlers taking up cupboard space at home and had to get one of Stumptown’s cool growlers. Think, “I Dream of Jeannie.” He’s also started experimenting with barrel aged stuff and somehow a year old bottle of whiskey barrel aged goodness made it into the cooler. That might be for tomorrow night around the fire pit! It was a perfect day and nice to catch up with good people. So, what’s everyone drinking now? I may need to crack open one of these “Porter? I Barely Knew Her.”
  22. We are on 70 heading over Braddock Mtn west of Frederick and saw some flurries. Weird sight with trees leafed out.
