Over 2" and the sump pump just kicked on for the first time in about a month. This was a much needed rain. Now, where is that little trickle of water on the kitchen wall coming from???

I was at the outer banks just north of Ocracoke Island during Alex in 2004. It was nuts. Be safe, but get out on the beach when you can for shells.

A touch of Irish whiskey in my morning coffee. For luck, of course. eta @HighStakes did a nice job on my roof, so yeah, tornados are cool, but down the street is better than here.

We just finished canning 180 cases at the brewery minus the three that I drank. We picked up some carry out and now watching August hockey and the prelude to a tropical storm. It’s a good day. eta: three beers. Not cases.

I’ve had the nhl games on as background noise the past couple of days and my girlfriend said that it reminds her of the olympics. I don’t disagree but so glad that it’s not one and done!

I’ve been hoping for something like this too. Awesome new feature. I had been feeling like I got rain shafted for July with just over two inches, and then I searched and see areas just to my wnw had half of that.
