Over 2" and the sump pump just kicked on for the first time in about a month. This was a much needed rain.
Now, where is that little trickle of water on the kitchen wall coming from???

eta @HighStakes did a nice job on my roof, so yeah, tornados are cool, but down the street is better than here.
.75” so far, which is perfect, I think. Enough to open soil pores and not so much that I’m worried about the basement later this morning. At least not yet.
We just finished canning 180 cases at the brewery minus the three that I drank. We picked up some carry out and now watching August hockey and the prelude to a tropical storm. It’s a good day.
eta: three beers. Not cases.
I’ve had the nhl games on as background noise the past couple of days and my girlfriend said that it reminds her of the olympics. I don’t disagree but so glad that it’s not one and done!
I’ve been hoping for something like this too. Awesome new feature. I had been feeling like I got rain shafted for July with just over two inches, and then I searched and see areas just to my wnw had half of that.
Lol. @CAPE, For the record, I liked your pre-edited version with the assessment of Goodel.
Unrelated, but for August 1st and the weather offseason, there’s a a lot of good reading on the board this morning!
