    Not being sarcastic. My nws point and click has a flood watch but no tor watch over the area. eta: thanks @yoda. I guess it’s just a glitch.

    I don’t want to interrupt the severe thread so I’ll ask this here, but why wasn’t a tornado watch issued for the metros today? We are literally surrounded by watches and now even warnings in the area.

    Not sure about this, but I just got an alert for a tornado watch in the metros. It was from Alexa and she’s a whacko so I’m not sure.

    Reading an article in the WaPo regarding wildfires in Manitoba, Canada. Looks like we might have some pretty sunsets next week as the smoke heads east.

    Over 1.75” now, and the sump pump is kicking on in regular intervals.

    I'm already looking forward to next Thursday when the new drought maps are released that will include this week's rain. Even tomorrow should be an improvement, but next week should really improve.
