  1. Driving along 100 today near 29 and some of the maple tips are a super vibrant red. Someone should start a foliage thread for photos. And @WxUSAF, no first freeze this year? Or are you betting we just don’t have a freeze?
  2. Is that for tonight, early tomorrow morning, or tomorrow night, or…
  3. That didn't take long. Hopefully it's peaking early and will weaken before Florida, but that's wishful thinking.
  4. Ironically, over the past year or so, I've been drinking too much whiskey and recently have been reaching for a beer instead. Good thing because I'm heading to the GABF in Denver this weekend!
  5. It’s amazing. I’ll check downstairs and see if there are any low fill cans. If so, we can meet up! edit: Yeah, I grabbed a few.
  6. Nice. I worked today and am enjoying a post shift Munich Dunkel Porter on draft. Good list here now. The Oktoberfest will be back on as soon as something else kicks.
  7. I asked this awhile back in a different thread, and no one addressed it. Probably because it’s such a stupid question, but I thought that I read somewhere and sometime ago that a track over Tampa was unusual. Maybe not? I bring it up because I have generally been skeptical anytime I see a track like the one on the NHC site now.
  8. Orioles need speed and also learn to play some small ball.
  9. I'm sure that a certain someone will start throwing the D word around by day 10.
  10. I didn't know that you were moving! Are you taking the greenhouse with you?
  11. I’m mad that Henry didn’t get the record.
  12. May be happening early. That timeout nonsense is pretty bad.
  13. Tigers have the Chisox and could easily win out. Definitely need a win for home field for the WC. Be nice to get it tonight to rest and set up the pitching for next week.
  14. But is it really possible that we get through September without any rain?
  15. The only thing I know about tropical systems I learned from watching the pretty colors on the goes. With that in mind, Helene looks to be getting healthy.
  16. Looking at the 6z gfs, that damn GL low is killing our snow chances for next week.
  17. I’m jelly of everyone that got their lawns aerated and seeded ahead of this week. It’s been perfect weather. If I get a dry afternoon tomorrow, I’ll get mine done.
  18. Westburg and Urias both played in Norfolk last night. Coulombe and Rodriguez both are throwing too, though Rodriguez might temporarily go to the pen if/when he gets back.
  19. Hurricanes are rarely a threat to TB, right? That’s a serious question.
