I just went to Pivotal and screenshot a map. Something like this maybe.

Just a suggestion, and I’ve never tried to make a map so you’re ahead of me, but if I did I would try to find an underlay that’s more subtle. I don’t think that you need the roadways. Just the county boundaries.

True. Maybe LWX knows the non-Parrs Ridge folks are just a bunch of weenies that will keep emailing and tweeting them to issue a watch, while the cool Carroll county kids couldn't give a shYt.

The watch only covers Sunday's WAA. LWX doesn't expect those areas to reach warning criteria from that part of the storm. Eta: That's my guess.

I love biking and I was doing great into December, but winter sucks for riding. And I despise indoor bike training, but I have a goal of 5,000 miles this calendar year so I need to get at it.

DC still below freezing at 30. I could be wrong but think today will be the first day this winter that I’ve stayed below freezing. I’m not sure the last time that has happened here. 28 now.
