eta, but also a little disappointed in the organization for starting him today. I was hoping Rivera was going to be the impetus for a culture change.
I could be wrong but I don’t think so. I think the mods were concerned and reached out to him and in his response said that he sometimes checked in. My guess is that he has done that anonymously.
This is blasphemous for this forum, and I’m not looking to be reaped, but getting decent weather for outdoor activities this winter would not upset me. For most of us on the forum, snow and cold is great weather, but we are not the norm.

Although old fashioned’s are awesome, I've been doing Manhattans pretty regularly using Bulleit Rye. I use rye because the spicy notes go well with the sweet vermouth, and Bulleit because it’s pretty good and I can get the super-size bottles reasonably priced!
Oh, and the jar of Luxardo cherries are a must. I buy them by the bulk and jar them with my vacuum sealer.
It’s been a busy morning here preparing the treats for delivery this weekend to family and friends. The pistachio-cranberry biscotti is finished, but still need to bake the white chocolate and macadamia nut biscotti. It’s not Mrs. Jones’ kitchen, but they are good with morning coffee. Merry Christmas all!
It would be fun to find a small, shallow pond down there for skating early tomorrow morning.
