  1. I have a few in the fridge you might want to try, or better, the pumpkin stout or black and cran sour on tap. We aren’t far from where you work!
  2. I’ll let the long-rangers figure out the future while I keep in the Christmas present. Met a couple friends and did a biscotti and cookie share at Brookeville Beer Farm this afternoon.
  3. Damn. I wish you had let me know. I’d have gladly brought the heater down to you. Also, did the Maryland Heights loop today and now sitting outside overlooking the rivers and town at Harpers Ferry Brewery.
  4. I’m hoping he gets benched early today. eta, but also a little disappointed in the organization for starting him today. I was hoping Rivera was going to be the impetus for a culture change.
  5. The roughing the kicker has turned into a nightmare for the defense.
  6. I could be wrong but I don’t think so. I think the mods were concerned and reached out to him and in his response said that he sometimes checked in. My guess is that he has done that anonymously.
  7. They might have a new coach after that bone-headed decision to kick a fg instead of going for six.
  8. This is blasphemous for this forum, and I’m not looking to be reaped, but getting decent weather for outdoor activities this winter would not upset me. For most of us on the forum, snow and cold is great weather, but we are not the norm.
  9. Need a kerosene heater for the night?
  10. From my sister in Owings, Calvert county. Easy, Mattie...
  11. At midnight last night it was at about 60 degrees here. I always forget how far west you are!
  12. Good eye! Although old fashioned’s are awesome, I've been doing Manhattans pretty regularly using Bulleit Rye. I use rye because the spicy notes go well with the sweet vermouth, and Bulleit because it’s pretty good and I can get the super-size bottles reasonably priced! Oh, and the jar of Luxardo cherries are a must. I buy them by the bulk and jar them with my vacuum sealer.
  13. It’s been a busy morning here preparing the treats for delivery this weekend to family and friends. The pistachio-cranberry biscotti is finished, but still need to bake the white chocolate and macadamia nut biscotti. It’s not Mrs. Jones’ kitchen, but they are good with morning coffee. Merry Christmas all!
  14. It would be fun to find a small, shallow pond down there for skating early tomorrow morning. Obs related, my new Radar Scope says I should be on the lookout for a steady snow shower soon.
  15. Scotch here. Balmy and spring-like out there now. And Merry Christmas to you. Hopefully we can follow through and do a meet and greet soon.
  16. What I meant is that it’s snowing well east of the weenie radar’s depiction. That means it’ll be snowing here within the hour.
