    After a busy couple of days visiting family, it’s a perfect day for sitting around the house with a fire, Christmas carols playing quietly, and enjoying the season.

    Had a sleet and snow mix that left a trace on the lawn furniture that we sunbathed in yesterday.

    Trying my best to not be mad and take advantage of the warm Christmas. Some family recently moved to Annapolis.

    No snowy owl sightings but three eagles and a hawks and woodpecker. Beautiful day. Of course! Stopped in for a few half pours. I was a fan of the Stunts Sour and 10 Layer Stout.

    Taking some time this morning to head down to Cambridge in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the snowy owl that has been reported there. If not, a Christmas Eve lunch of oysters and beer will be on tap.

    A friend of mine lives between Denver and Boulder and sent this photo about an hour ago.

    Some snowy owl reports in Maryland this week. One in Annapolis and another in the Cambridge area. I haven’t been able to confirm the Annapolis report, but the Cambridge sighting is confirmed. Apparently right off of Bellevue Ave in town and on the water. I think this photo was taken by a birder by the name of John Manger.
