There is a forum for the Philly area. Feel free to post Philly stats there. As for me, this month is -3.1 so far through May 26. I don't think this month will end up in the + departure column after a warm March/April.
Nearly the entire SE corner of my county is without power. I recorded a peak gust of 19MPH before the electricity went off. Someone else must have had a much higher gust nearby because that would cause parts of 2 counties to lose power.
Is it because that is intended to be an overlay layer and the gray checkerboard area is transparent and so it can render overtop another background layer?
Two reports of tornadoes in my part of the state. The one earlier mentioned around Carson City and another near Otsego and Plainwell that crossed US-131. Just lots of rain IMBY. My county was briefly under a warning but I don't believe anything ever touched down.
After Saturday being absolutely perfect, yesterday was warm but once again crazy windy. I recorded a 65MPH gust yesterday afternoon and spent about 5 hours straights with winds gusting over 40MPH on a consistent basis.
And 2013-2014 was near record setting or record setting for many in the Midwest and doesn't even make their top 10. it is a completely differently place up there.
We should have had a wind warning or something last night but nothing was issued. For about 20 minutes straight my wind averaged over 40MPH with multiple 60+ gusts. Had a max wind gust of 67 around 1:30 this morning.
Quite a turnaround for many areas in the last month. Definitely good to see the drought easing here, but the southern and western states are still awful.
Yeah, we had a legitimate shot at 100" for the year going in to March and it just quit snowing. Looks like something in the 95"+ range is where I will end the winter.
