  1. About an inch now. Snowing decently. Between light and moderate.
  2. I’m expecting to be in the lower 40s during the “torch.” Not a big deal.
  3. I am in northern NH and I am talking about the pack season. I had a big storm in early December here but it was wiped out at Christmas. Our sustained pack didn't set in until January.
  4. Winter was slow to come in last year too. By mid Jan I had 3 feet OTG and it lasted through March.
  5. No issues with sitting on the deck enjoying it. 60 degrees yesterday was fine. The snow will come and by FEB I will probably be here begging for mercy.
  6. Being from down south, I never thought the ski places could hold snow as well as they do up here. Last mid March it torched to near 70 several days in a row and the ski places kept going into April. This doesn't seem like a big deal. They turn off the guns and have some soft conditions for 4-5 days and then it freezes up again. The nights don't look warm either. The high mins is the real torch up here. 40/25 is not a big deal.
  7. LOL yeah the "mega torch" doesn't seem too bad up here. Coastal SNE weenies always panic. Reminds me of MD weenies in 2014 before it stopped snowing there.
  8. I have learned from my tween that “meh” means anything from just decent to really great. You have to see the height of the shoulder shrug to be more specific.
  9. Yeah, doesn't seem all that hot here despite the hysteria from some in SNE. No worse than a typical mid-March warm spell that softens things up for a few days.
  10. I'm sure the resorts will be blowing like crazy the next few days to prepare to bridge the gap. Still some cold evenings progged though.
  11. Nothing too compelling on the horizon, a few bouts of bread and butter interspersed with warm-ups and some rain. I expect a continued yo-yo back and forth over the next 10 days. Hard to really build any pack right now. Hopefully around the 20th we can shift into a more permanently cold and snowy regime better for building a pack.
  12. I tend to clam up when I see someone being attacked by mussels. I figure the world is their oyster and it would be pretty shellfish of me to intervene.
  13. Some energy still swings through NNE and drops a few inches.
  14. Yeah, temp down to 33 with some flakes mixed in it looks like. Wild ride today weather-wise.
  15. These runs all have a little tickling finger of precip extending towards my backyard. Would this be an east wind situation? I max those out every time.
  16. NOW it feels more like a New England winter cutter. I'm sure the cold front will take many hours to get here as the precip will orient n/s directly overhead as it usually does in these events.
