  1. This has been the trend today, IMO. GFS has been getting pretty close to mix storm here if not an outright snowstorm.
  2. I would stay far away from OT. It’s a cesspit where the “staff” just harasses people and embarrasses themselves.
  3. LOL imagine defending NJ’s honor so vociferously. Always cracks me up.
  4. So why do they all come here and warm troll?
  5. Couple more runs and this will be a snowstorm here.
  6. LOL yeah I doubt it. It seems to be getting colder, or at least dampening out to not have much precip. 32-34 with light drizzle/freezing drizzle is no big deal. Hopefully the models start picking up on some upslope after the low passes too.
  7. Couple more runs like the 12z GFS and the cutter may end up mostly frozen here.
  8. It's amazing how many people troll the New England forum. All of the interesting weather that happens to members of this forum happens in New England so I guess it makes sense. Nothing interesting weather wise has happened in NJ, MD, NYC, VA, NC, SC, etc. for literally years so they troll here.
  9. What does the Jersey forum think about it? Ask them.
  10. Cutter looking less deadly up here. Rain in and out quick and temps 32-34. Hope it keeps cooling and just turns into an FZDR fest.
  11. 9" but that is in a weenie spot where I have my stake. It's really more like 6" around the property if I take an average. There is always a big swing between the south and north aspects here.
  12. Yeah, things have worked out decently here so far given I can straddle the line between the CAD retention setups and the upslope setups. I am definitely craving a big impact coastal right now or a week long upslope bonanza, though.
  13. Keeping my bar set at a fun period like mid-Jan to mid-Feb was last winter. 3 feet of depth, temps cold enough, and two events of 15"+ plus a bunch of smaller events. Hopefully we at least get this. The nickel and dime stuff interspersed with warmth does start to wear thin after a while. It seems pretty hard for NNE to get widespread 12" events the last two winters. Still plenty of time this winter. Areas that don't get upslope have had a real rough go of it.
  14. Definitely trying to keep last winter in perspective. It was not until the mid-January storm that things really got going here. Hoping the New Years cutter doesn't wipe out the fragile pack we all have built.
  15. Yeah the cutter looks pretty bad right now. Hopefully it dampens out a little as it moves into meso range.
  16. That cutter after New Years is starting to look uglier here now. Hope it fizzles like the others have so far.
  17. Ugly cutter on the 12z Euro for after New Years. Hopefully it dampens out like the GFS shows.
  18. Just some clouds here today, no snow unless I blinked and missed it.
  19. I don't see any big cutter on the models for NNE. Sheesh these SNE threads are depressing. You guys go one month slightly below normal for snowfall and you all melt.
  20. You have to enter the totals yourself under your account...
  21. Never heard of Josh Johnson... best the Ravens could find?
  22. 22 with light snow. Snowed all day but didn't amount to more than a half inch or so. Beats ice at least.
