  1. 2-4 seems like a good bet. Models are wet enough here for that.
  2. Yeah, I get enough cold and snow here that I don't need to max it out by having my house in the middle of the woods. There are some houses around here with zero views surrounded by trees on all sides. I'm sure they have great snow depth numbers but man how can they not want those views to the south?
  3. I get a decent amount of sun here. My spot north of the Whites often clears out when Littleton, Bethlehem, Carroll, etc. are socked in. Happens all the time. Franconia Notch and that general area is always cloudy.
  4. Yeah, moose fart stuff across the area today for sure. Just kinda floated around here all day. Hard to complain about a day like today. Good temps, snow falling all day, had BW all to myself, decent conditions, and they opened up a few of my favorite trails.
  5. Seems the convection chase deal is just how this event is gonna go. Shame because it means the storm won’t reach full potential.
  6. Glad I seem to torch on these ice days you guys get. I hate ice unless it is some kind of historical rare event worth the hassle.
  7. Been a snowy day here. Flakes in the air all day so far. Always nice to see.
  8. P&C implies something like 2-4 here. I am still holding out hope for a rogue band from the east boosting totals a bit. My location will max out any precip that gets here from that direction.
  9. What are the thoughts for Friday? GFS still prints out some decent upslope, RGEM is also pretty good as a signal.
  10. Glad the RGEM moved a little west. Gets some decent precip over here. Some of these models seem to want to delay bombing until past SNE.
  11. "Lean" is not even a strong enough word for what's been going on in DC the last several winters. Non-existent is probably a more apt term. I am not sure where last Feb ranked for SNE and NJ, I think I heard in parts of NJ it was top 3 at least. Oh yeah, not complaining here. Last winter was fine and this winter has been better here for snowcover so far. Also had snow in the air a good amount. A nice meaty event is needed across the NNE mountains; it'll come eventually.
  12. SNE down through NJ had a monster Feb by their standards, IIRC. Biggest in a long time. Several nice synoptic events. I did OK in Feb, but it was all 2" nickel and dime from upslope here other than the storm on the 2nd.
  13. The NAMs were definitely better for parts of NH than 06z. Even tossed some precip all the way up to the eastern whites.
  14. Half inch overnight and some bursts of snow ongoing.
