    Creates a three day snowstorm deal for NNE at least. I love multi-part storms over a couple days. Kinda prefer that to the 10 hour hectic bomb actually.

    I don’t care about coastal fronts or deform snow. Just blast 2” liquid in here on E/NE winds with temps in the 20s and it’s all good. Doesn’t matter how the snow comes in.

    Very healthy. Good precip pretty far west and north. Definitely can see that this takes a more northerly trajectory versus the usual ENE OTS look.

    I’d rather look at the CMC over the UKMET, at least at the surface. UKMET is a schizophrenic model.

    That's the basic forecast here too, GYX was pointing out that the SW upslope spots could see a little enhancement to bump totals a bit. I was surprised to snag 2.5" of fluff last night so not ruling out a little extra from the clipper which has much more moisture than whatever last night was. I think NNE could get a little surprise. It would not shock me one bit to see the PF 5" camera shot.

    Kinda funny how within basically 1 or 2 cycles all major models went from whiffing me completely to completely burying me. I am not spiking any footballs yet, it will change again.

    It’ll end up going back east a little. This seems to always happen.

    Latest GYX disco talking about up to 4” from the clipper. If the snow is fluffy like last night I could see it.

    E Mass still needs the rain. What a turnaround with these runs.

    Yep, tuck it in close. Heavy snow at 31 degrees works just fine here.
