    NAM is suddenly all alone. Better hope Euro doesn't go east and look like the GFS. The performance from the GGEM and UKMET have been putrid for this event. Literally shifting every six hours from MECS to mostly whiff.

    Captures pretty well the state of the model swings for here.

    The GGEM lost that little hook left into the GOM that it had at 00z. Back to just screaming ENE after it hits SNE.

    EPS and GEFS don't look bad for NNE next week. More of an overrunning look, IMO.

    If GGEM, UKMET stay amped and west and Euro slides west, safe to toss the GFS. My fear is that the Euro slides to GFS and then suddenly that's a strong camp against the garbage models.

    GFS has been very consistent. Can't toss it. Pretty lame event as depicted for many cycles. Huge bust coming for one of these camps.

    Stuff makes me very anxious unless I imbibe in such low doses it doesn't really do anything.

    The GFS owes us at least one good run. Come on.

    As of 00z, agreed. But the two JV models have kept waffling. Would be nice to see them hold from 00z, where they were awesome for us.

    Two camps still on the models. There is the NAM camp that the Euro started and is still kinda in and the SE lame camp with the GFS. The GGEM and UKMET keep going back and forth, not sure what they want to be.

    That's legit big storm up here. Man, can't the NAM be right just this once??

    hopefully we finally get through a model cycle where they all agree and back up the bigger solution. Every damn time it seems we get one of them to have a big run and then the next in the chute craps the bed.

    The Euro seemed to be headed towards the GFS at 06z, to be honest.

    It’s definitely colder and less snowy than last winter so far here. We’ve dodged the big cutters so far… next week looks ugly.
