  1. I have close to 2 feet here now so another 6-8 is fine to build the pack further. Just no rain, hate that in winter. I have no issue with SNE getting in on it too. If they are getting snow it means I dodged a torch here.
  2. Even the MA weenies chill for a few days after a HECS. So much latent rage in SNE it’s really easy to get them foaming.
  3. Such anger. Good heavens. I’m living rent free right now clearly. I didn’t even steal your snow! Take a break?
  4. LOL just got 30” and still on a hair trigger. Hate to see it.
  5. Shhh, you might anger the SNE weenies if you say that. This is going to be another 20” for them.
  6. 12z was warmer than 06z but it's just minute differences on the 84 NAM. On to GFS.
  7. NAM looks noticeably warmer and more wound up than 06z GFS, but it's at range so not putting much stock in it.
  8. Here is my thread from 2020. Some good perspectives in here. @ORH_wxman can tell you if you are buying in a snow hole. He saved me from buying a dud. NNE microclimates are such that a couple miles can make a huge difference in snow totals. You will also need to think about what is more important: a lot of smaller, more reliable snows, bigger synoptic events that can dry up and miss for a long stretch, or to be a mega-retention queen where you hold on to every flake that does fall. Each area has strengths and weaknesses in these aspects. We like our area given we do OK in all of these aspects and we have civilization nearby in the form of several towns and Berlin which is a little redneck but still has schools, a decent hospital, etc. In NH, I would not go any further north than Milan. Beyond that, it gets really desolate and frankly kinda depressing as a living situation, especially in winter. I'm sure there are great land deals up there, but it's bleak. Stay out of Whitefield. Decent little town but has a snow hole that shows up in nearly every event. A lot of SNE people seem to like the Conway zone but I find it to be way too crowded and touristy and they suck at snow (comparatively to here), IMO. It's always 5-7 degrees warmer there than here. I would stay away if you are looking for a quieter mountain retreat. Kinda reminds me of a tourist beach town transplanted into a somewhat mountainous area. The VT and Maine crew will know more about their areas.
  9. Nice to see we can still get a below normal cold month.
  10. Ensembles still seem to be pointing to this going north (possibly even north of NNE), but they are slowly moving south. 06z GFS was a big flip from 00z, we will see if it gets any backup.
  11. Models locked here. Goalposts are set with GGEM and UKMET.
  12. That's a good plot to demonstrate why the GGEM is overdone. Not happening.
  13. GGEM is wet, warm, and wild. Broad 18-24 swath across NNE but it is not very cold. 2.5" of liquid across the area. It's clearly way overdone but at least it still supports the general GFS/Euro idea.
  14. I like this SB lineup. Could be a shootout. Hopefully not a snoozer.
  15. I love everyone here, I just love snow even more.
  16. Not sure why anyone who just had a 30" blizzard would still be in defensive troll mode, but whatever. LOL It snows in NNE sometimes when it rains in SNE, deal with it?
  17. You literally made an entire failed thread where you had to talk your SNE buds off the ledge over and over and routinely raged out at people… but it’s me. LOL ok.
  18. Some of the same weenies who a couple days were begging for spring because the winter sucked so bad are now assuming every cutter will trend into a snowstorm for their backyard. LOL
  19. OK, appreciate the update. Sounds like Randolph maxed out the potential of another one. Hopefully later this week delivers.
  20. He’s shaking and sweating but still pretending he wants another BOS HECS because “it would be so anomalous.”
  21. Wow, did not think the Bengals could do it.
  22. Up here at least, it's very close to the Euro and even the reviled GGEM (the latter is way overdone on precip but has the same idea). That's great agreement at this range.
  23. Pack is at 22" or so and drifted around so it's at the point where it's deep enough that it gets harder to tell just looking out the window that it's not 3 feet. LOL This is when the 2" refreshers every other day are awesome. I've gotten some synoptic love this winter, and more coming this week it looks like, but where has the upslope been? Been quiet on that front.
