  1. Nice event but that's not a HECS for the history books. Limited geographic window and it failed to be historic down south so no help there either.
  2. I might be naive, but I haven’t seen much ZR or sleet here at all. It’s either rain or snow. The mid-slope deal here seems to just set up that way. If this ends up too warm to snow I expect to be rain to some FZDR I guess if temps are as cold as they say. Maybe it’s the MA in me, but cold air chasing rain never equals an ice storm.
  3. You are a demon. South winds are the enemy here.
  4. Not worried about that. It'll be snow here. Ice/rain in Gorham.
  5. Haha I knew you would have the deets on his best setup. Should have summoned you with an @.
  6. It works if you are a local as well and give them a lot of work, otherwise no.
  7. That trail looks pretty cool. I love trails like that.
  8. I like his devil may care attitude. He has some of the biggest brains here tossing charts and graphs his way and he merely laughs jovially and turns his nose up at those buffoons.
  9. There is surely a scenario where a streamer would park over you and dump. Sounds like you are on the lookout. This is definitely a tailor-made synoptic event for you. Fingers crossed it comes together.
  10. I almost bought a 30 acre lot up in Montgomery, VT. That's near Jay Peak. Received many good reports from @powderfreak and others about the snow potential there. May be some good land deals there to be had still. There were several options back when I looked. If you plan to build new, be prepared to be very patient. Everything is slower up here and the locals don't move faster if you get all uptight and yell at them. Given the current situation with shortages and labor issues, it might be even worse. I would strongly consider buying an existing place if you can find something that works for you. Or build but be prepared to wait and deal with delays. It all depends on your personal desires and timeline. Exciting stuff, please keep us posted as you make your decisions down the road.
  11. How do you do with upslope there? Not that there has been much of that lately. Rather paltry. Even J Spin has struggled to drum up any tenths recently.
  12. I use the CMC because I am close to Canada.
  13. Haha, but in all seriousness this thing is definitely more interesting given that it has a good moisture feed. Turns it into something with some real boom potential versus a typical SWFE. I think 6-10 is still a good call but there is a potential for 12"+. Definitely want to see VT get in on this. Some real screw zones there this winter relative to climo.
  14. LOL yeah all that plus the clown maps look nice.
  15. Just looking back at the past few Euro runs, it looks pretty consistent to me. Seems to be pretty well focused-in.
  16. The shift means more up our way. It's still much further north with the good snows and warmer than the GFS right now.
  17. Would be a huge run for NNE if it kept going.
  18. Yeah, learning to ski at a place 1 hour from Baltimore made me pretty tolerant of bad conditions. Definitely some dainty queens up here who only venture out on the finest champagne. haha Cannon though tests my patience.
  19. Did the Navy throw you overboard at some point?
