49/34 doesn’t strike me as a torch around these parts, but hey we are in sad, self-pity mode here right now so I guess it qualifies. Yup, not gonna snow on Christmas in the furnace and that’s just not fair.

The older I get the less I understand the endless pattern chasing some do. It's hardly better than a coin flip despite all the angst and analysis. I used to eat this shit up, but not anymore.

Apparently it is superior for weather over the ocean as well as things such as sea state/wave height. I have also been told it sucks at that as well, so go figure.

Managed to snag tickets to last night. It was great to see him in action live. Shame the special teams was so poor. Never seen such a shitty performance from them. The Jets have something in Darnold. He had flashes of solid performance.

And if you don’t like it, they say you can just pound sand and leave, as if the majority of posters here chose this style of control or who is making these rules and enforcing them. I couldn’t imagine waking up each morning giddy to come to a weather board and enforce order, whether people wanted it or not. But when you lack control at work and home, a place like this becomes an outlet where you can be in control.

I don’t care to post here much anymore either because the control freaks have taken over. These guys destroy boards and run long time posters away. It’s always the same couple of people. Used to be funny, now just sad. And they will make very predictable responses to this post, “not my rules” “I just enforce them” “only following orders” etc. I doubt the person that supposedly set the rules even gives a shit.

Was down there this time last week but can't get there this week. I would assume Millville will beat MBY up here. Been a decent bet the last few winters. I can watch it from the porch cam.

Why worry about it? These predictions beyond 3-4 weeks are barely better than coin flips. The first two weeks of December were supposed to be warm we were told in November. So far, it's been mostly overcast and chilly/windy around these parts, very typical December weather. And warm/wet followed by cold/dry is a cycle we get here every single winter several times.

You guys always seem to forget HM is not IMBY-centric like most other Twitter and forum mets so as long as someone in the eastern seaboard is getting snow, he will say it’s a “snowy pattern for the east” and such. It’s often fool’s gold to assume he is talking about anything that will benefit us.

LOL more long range busts. It's amazing how confident and self-assured some people get with these forecasts when they are basically guessing. Some folks need to learn to hedge a bit more.

I was way more worried about Seattle and New England than I am about the 49ers. I think they are good but not 10-1 good; a bit of a fraud team but not too bad. It's hard for us Ravens fans to accept our team is a juggernaut and expect to win each week. This is what it feels like to be a Pats fan I guess.

We miss snowstorms that are 4 days away, but we think we have temps in late December pegged because of index values. Pretty much sums up this board.

I don’t drink light beers unless it’s 85 degrees or above in the sun. Some freaks here are hoping Thanksgiving weather looks like that so they can wear cargo shorts and a tank top on their deck.

Ugh, you are one of those guys. It's Thanksgiving, not Labor Day. You don't need to sit on the patio and sip Coronas. You had the last 6 months to do that. Sit by the fire with a sweater on. That's Thanksgiving.

Winter has shifted. December is boiling and March is cold and snowy. I will not say it is human-caused, but something has happened. Also, this repeating pattern of 2 months of tropical rainforest followed by 2 months of desert is noticeable.

Kinda amazing it rained nonstop for months and then it didn't rain at all for months. I am not a global warming nut, but is this normal? It seems to be the pattern now. We get soaked then we get nothing.
