  1. I can’t see my PWS, it’s pitch black here so for all I know it lifted out of the ground and blew into a tree, however. LOL
  2. Getting some rain now and more lightning. Wind died off.
  3. Weird. Winds have been ripping all day here but basically zero rain with these storms so far. Opposites today! LOL
  4. That cell went just north of here. Ice gulch got blasted. Just a few raindrops and gusted to 60 a few times.
  5. Bunch of sound and fury out there, signifying nothing so far.
  6. Nothing here yet except some major gusts. Looks like we get into some action a little later.
  7. I have a lot of standing water on my property again already so 4-5 more inches of rain would definitely crush any remaining drought issues, at least IMBY.
  8. Heading back to MD tomorrow for a couple weeks so I'm sure historic October snow will be in the cards up here.
  9. Randolph was above average. 207" on an average of 185" (over the past 12 years at the CoCoRaHS site, at least). But looking at the daily record that snowfall number was boosted by the observer being obsessive about measuring every little snowfall. There were many major thaws and melts. The number was also boosted by some big snows in April and May, basically garbage time scores.
  10. I have never spent any of my hard-earned money on a political campaign and never will. More power to those who donate heavily if that floats your boat. I couldn’t care less who “represents” me in Congress. I couldn’t feel more disconnected from someone. Just find any random person and let them do the “job.” Fine by me. So much money wasted on this nonsense. All flushed down the drain.
  11. Nearly 70 here now. A Randolph roasting after the last few days for sure. LOL
  12. 67 and a stiff breeze. Feel bad for the leaf peepers. It’s way past peak. Still a few dull colors around but probably better color wherever they traveled from.
  13. I think a lot of the energy is more local than usual. Americans have spent way more time literally at home or close to home than ever before this year. I think it's caused a more localized worldview and increased level of interest In local issues, such as lockdowns, quarantine policies, business closures, school policies, law and order, etc. People realized their governor and state legislature wield much more power than the President when it comes to COVID policies...
  14. Crisp, breezy day. Some ice still up on the peaks. Must be brutal up there today.
  15. Yeah, I've been pretty happy with the radar coverage here so far. I expected it to be a hot mess, but for the most part it shows even the smallish areas of precip over my house and the results on the ground line up well. Last night was the first time I really noticed the precip looked really wispy/scattered on radar but it was consistently pouring here. Must have been some other factor at play.
  16. Yep, I have seen glimpses of the same on Adams/Madison. Low clouds hanging on them all morning so can’t get a clear view.
  17. Yep, 1.14” here. It rained all night even with nothing really on radar.
  18. Nothing on radar but it is raining pretty good here again. 0.84” Over-performer here. Hopefully a sign for the winter. Randolph raking.
  19. I hope Flacco kills it out there. Baltimore owes him a huge debt of gratitude. His 2012 playoff run was legendary and probably the best QB playoff run in NFL history. Joe was unstoppable during those four games and beat two QBs who are considered GOAT candidates in their own houses. It's not like he was beating up on backup QBs out there... going to Denver and New England to face Manning and Brady back-to-back was a nightmare run for any team. I think the hype after that run made it inevitable he would disappoint.
