  1. RGIII is a glimpse into Lamar’s future.
  2. The storm will “make its own cold air.” Don’t worry!
  3. I would love to take my chances with that look. Dancing with the devil.
  4. Mon/Tue is clearly a lost cause, but the storm around the 5th is not a lost cause for NNE yet. It takes a better track at least and wouldn’t need to shift 1000 miles to be really good.
  5. Yep, same thing with the beaches in the MD area. Everyone rushes out on Memorial Day to jump in 62 degree ocean water, but come late September when ocean temps can be in the mid-70s or more they are like “no thanks, it’s time for pumpkin spice now.”
  6. I leave to go back to MD for 10 days starting on the 11th so I would pencil in that timeframe for some epic cold and snow. Probably record-setting stuff.
  7. Models keep hinting at a coastal around the end of next weekend. Praying it materializes. A foot+ across the area followed by solid cold and upslope would get things back on track.
  8. I understand there is publicity in being first but the weather looks really bleak for NNE until this time next week.
  9. The warmth and rain Monday and Tuesday will set everything back again. We figure we won’t be skiing until December 7th and beyond at the earliest. It’s a shame.
  10. Buy it. I doubt the Native Americans shared Mac ‘n Cheese either.
  11. The Old Bay hot sauce is great on pizza. It is legit.
  12. My family makes it from scratch from pickled cabbage cooked with pork shanks. Old Baltimore Polish/German recipe.
  13. Mixed with the mashed potatoes and stuffing. It’s amazing. I am a food mixer on the plate which I have heard triggers some people badly. LOL
  14. It’s a Baltimore thing. It’s pretty unique I have noticed.
  15. I am new here too and it is not always easy to pick up on the lingo and inside jokes. My advice? Reach out to @Damage In Tolland for guidance and advice. The guy is a natural-born teacher who lives to patiently help the newbies understand the climo in New England especially the kind of idyllic, calm, sunny, low-damage weather you guys enjoy in CT. I’m told he lives on a mountain so that means he’s gotta be pretty wise.
  16. High today was 37. 34 now. Didn’t feel “warm” at any point.
  17. Do you New Englanders have sauerkraut with the turkey?
  18. My mother in law strolls out there sometimes. :rimshot:
  19. Time to climb above the clouds, right? Or is it still socked in up there too? LOL
  20. Yeah kinda weird feel today for sure. Like the sky is sinking to cover the earth. LOL
  21. I just need some “marginal SNE cold.”
  22. No more drought here locally but I know that drought monitor takes into account many larger-scale factors such as reservoir and river levels, aquifers, water table, etc. I will say when I am south of the Whites and especially into the Lakes Region it seems drier to me. It has been that way since the mid-summer.
