  1. Eh, it just better cool off soon. LOL
  2. We should have nuked this storm when we had the chance.
  3. This was one of the bigger POS storms in recent memory for me. What a damn turd in every facet. And now we are still trapped in its damn stink cloud.
  4. Why in the hell is it still 57 here? The damn storm is gone. It’s 44 at my place in MD. What the hell?
  5. Ugh, it’s always the damned Euro pulling this shit.
  6. We want a little phase, right? Otherwise it would be like those earlier runs that totally whiffed up here.
  7. LOL yeah he really needs this kind of storm to have a decent season.
  8. The weenie rule is that if all other models but the Euro show snow, the other models will immediately cave to the crappy Euro solution.
  9. Ugh the Euro is really ugly this run. Just gonna toss that.
  10. Stupid Euro. It always shits in the punch bowl. Every damn time.
  11. In the far upper reaches of the atmosphere it is top-notch for sure. I could see the Ukie doing well with wound-up lows. Sort of like when you needed a model showing a coastal coming north you would break out the NOGAPS and CRAS. The Ukie loves taking monster lows off the coast and slamming them into Portugal.
  12. Probably the same nerds who say the UKMET is the “second best model.”
  13. Now just need the Euro to give me a foot this weekend to complete the trifecta. I’m guessing it will show some nonsense out to sea or something, however.
  14. Last few GFS runs have really crushed NNH with the coastal Dec 5/6. 12z is over a foot here.
  15. It looks like a mauling here but I’m on the line. Better than 06z here.
  16. Need a solid synoptic system to jumpstart the ski places, at least around here.
  17. With @jculligan recording 3.33" in Jackson I am not as suspicious of my numbers as I have been in the past.
  18. He's way better at measuring than me is one big reason. LOL The other is probably topography. His spot is tucked back and heavily wooded. I'm thinking he gets shadowed a little in these sideways rain events, whereas my lot is much more open and I don't have my Stratus in the woods. It'll be different in snowfall retention battles. His spot can only be described as a weenie's dream. Zero exposure. The snow must sit in piles in there for a very long time. My back lawn gets absolutely baked, on the other hand. I always defer to his readings as the final verdict, I am providing mine just as a data point. I wouldn't suggest basing a scientific research paper on my numbers. LOL
  19. That's true, but this last event was kind of silly with 55 degree rain all the way up into Canada and snow deep into GA. That's like upside-down world basically.
  20. Nice. Obviously S/SE flow will be bread and butter for you once it gets cold.
  21. 2.52” as the heavy stuff departs for now. I feel like my spot definitely got some enhancement. Looking forward to a cold coastal storm.
