  1. Better than a driving rainstorm all the way to Ft. Kent.
  2. Thank goodness. Now let’s slowly bring it back as a nice coastal.
  3. We need snow. This is what happens to addicts in homeless encampments too, you know. They start fighting over dumb shit when they have to go without.
  4. Flurries and 35 degrees. Nice to see.
  5. Some flakes mixed in here now. Yippee!
  6. I don’t think globular worming has anything to do with it not snowing when a low goes over your head or just west of you. This is Weenie 101 stuff.
  7. Hoping to sneak in one more cold snowy day before the 11th. Maybe 3-5 inches. Doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for. I am tired of shoveling pattern, been doing that for many years.
  8. I go back to MD on the 11th until the 21st so that checks out. Epic 10 days for you guys.
  9. LOL yeah that’s very true. Helps to keep perspective. I just wish these next two cutters would just fizzle instead of dumping like 10 inches of rain on me.
  10. Thanks, I needed this weather pick-me-up. I will admit that low ceilings and 37/drizzle for days with more on the horizon is depressing. The darkness and dampness here really sucks. I don’t need a lot of snow. 28 degrees with occasional snow showers is just fine too.
  11. Should be fun getting blasted with yet another heavy rainstorm while PA and Western MD get heavy snow. Why’d I move all the way up here again?
  12. It looks bad now but it’s 200 hours out on operational models. Not worried about it until the early week storm gets out of the way.
  13. Yeah it’s awesome. I really hope the second storm around the 5th trends better. Two more driving rainstorms would be hard to take.
  14. Real nice look for N NH up into Maine.
  15. The storm will “make its own cold air.” Don’t worry!
  16. I would love to take my chances with that look. Dancing with the devil.
  17. Mon/Tue is clearly a lost cause, but the storm around the 5th is not a lost cause for NNE yet. It takes a better track at least and wouldn’t need to shift 1000 miles to be really good.
  18. Yep, same thing with the beaches in the MD area. Everyone rushes out on Memorial Day to jump in 62 degree ocean water, but come late September when ocean temps can be in the mid-70s or more they are like “no thanks, it’s time for pumpkin spice now.”
  19. I leave to go back to MD for 10 days starting on the 11th so I would pencil in that timeframe for some epic cold and snow. Probably record-setting stuff.
  20. Models keep hinting at a coastal around the end of next weekend. Praying it materializes. A foot+ across the area followed by solid cold and upslope would get things back on track.
  21. I understand there is publicity in being first but the weather looks really bleak for NNE until this time next week.
  22. The warmth and rain Monday and Tuesday will set everything back again. We figure we won’t be skiing until December 7th and beyond at the earliest. It’s a shame.
  23. Buy it. I doubt the Native Americans shared Mac ‘n Cheese either.
