  1. I have always lusted after that area. It would be a great choice!
  2. It's a sizable log estate with a large detached barn, yes. LOL
  3. Looking at radar, I am thinking 20"+ might be in play. I haven't performed diligent measuring. I am just sticking a ruler in the ground. A lot of the depth has been lost to compaction. I bet the CoCoRaHS guy down the road from me captured the lost inches. I can't wait to see his obs. I bet he has measured 15-17 already.
  4. About 50 people or so live up on the hill where I am. 300 some in Randolph total. It's a very sparse area. If you want this lifestyle, just do it, is my advice. Most people here are working class salt-of-the earth types. They are not high-rollers and most of the homes in Randolph are very modest. I live in basically the largest compound in the town. This entire area is very blue collar which was a big part of the draw for me. I love the people here and in Gorham/Berlin/Milan. Honest, hardworking people.
  5. Was he sitting in his living room enjoying that view he just posted while you were digging out the car? LOL
  6. Looks like another 5-7 here based on the latest models, I just glanced quickly. I just measured 13 in that same spot from earlier. There is a lot of blowing and drifting now however. If that's true, I should hit 17" or so assuming upslope adds in some fluff tomorrow. Some of the heaviest snow I have ever seen.
  7. Except that cutter last Monday. I freaking torched hugely in that one. Any snow pack I would have had would have been obliterated.
  8. If you can figure out how to make your right nut worth about a million dollars, you might have a shot.
  9. Average is about 185" at the local COOP station nearby.
  10. My elevation is 1550" Flakes look nice, they are white, decent size. LOL I am not J. Spin. I don't measure the flakes.
  11. Yes, I have already been told that by the excavator guy who paved my driveway this fall. He can come and haul the snow away and had to do that here in the bigger retention winters.
  12. Blasting here. Obligatory ruler pic. Measured 9 inches in the protected spot out front.
  13. Randolph Hill. They have had to come here in the past to load the snow into trucks and dump it into the river down in Gorham. LOL
  14. They just plowed my driveway. I have no idea where they will put the snow come March. Huge piles already. I have about a quarter mile of driveway here.
  15. Other people are getting heavy snow still right? Am I the last man standing or something?
  16. Gotta be the heaviest of the day so far based on the look in the deck spotlight. Looks like a break coming in a few hours unless it fills in. Is this thing supposed to be pivoting?
  17. DT sort of raised the red flag yesterday when folks were partying over the WB maps.
  18. Yeah, there was no cold air. It isn’t like I was in the teens today even way up here. It was a 31/32 degree Baltimore cement job all day. Even now with NW winds ripping its 29. Just no cold air around.
  19. That’s a good idea. LOL I just measured 8 in a few protected spots on the front side of the house, FWIW. It certainly felt like that much snow while I was out there with the kids. It’s gotta be north of 6 or 7.
