I’m sure the weenies that actually get screwed in these events really enjoy watching you and psuhoffman pretend you are going to get screwed as well only to then get the highest totals in the state and tell us all about it. I have been on these boards for a long time and this same pattern plays out every single time... Next thing is you’ll say the storm is fringing you and “congrats to those further south!” Every damn time.

It is definitely possible for the storm to shift SE enough to not give the WV crew 2 feet while improving for you. The “favored spot” that is screw-proof in the vast majority of cases is up by psuhoffman and that tier. But oh man can they whine with the best of them. I expect by Monday there will be the usual “OTS” looking runs that cause panic for them. Happens every time.

Soon we will see the runs that shift SE and cause psuhoffman to start talking about being fringed while CAPE and the RIC crew start squawking. All very predictable.

Yeah, I'll take it. Between the 14" in Randolph last weekend and 18-20" in MD, it would go down as a legendary winter month for sure. Hope it happens. But I have learned not to get my hopes up for snow down there. Very good chance that the Euro craps the bed. It loves to ruin the party.

Amazingly, there is a chance for a decent snowstorm this week for my MD house. LOL I picked the right 10 days to go home. We will see if it pans out down here. 100 ways to fail here.

The early 1990s. The ice storms since then have been garbage. Moderate rain at 31.7 degrees that glazes some bushes or tips over a dying tree in Northern Virginia is not an ice storm.

FWIW, GFS did this on the last coastal for New England for days and then caved at the end.

Some compaction today with a little more sun and a brief interlude above freezing. Everything pancaked down a couple of inches. More like 12 inches of depth in most spots now.

MD has been cursed for snow lately. I assume it has to give at some point, but odds say the storm shifts far enough north to give Randolph more than central MD. It won’t take much for my house down there to be 34 degree rain for the duration. An “tic” or two would do it.

Euro looks better for my house in MD than Randolph right now. LOL You can bet that won’t happen.
