  1. Now the RGEM takes the max stripe up into NH. Another cycle or two like this and Randolph will be in good shape. Meanwhile, it's total pandemonium in the MA thread. Full meltdown mode. Another storm bites the dust. So glad I (mostly) moved north.
  2. This storm would have been much better if it snuck up on us. If the models had run in reverse from what they did and been all warm rain for days until showing this 24 hours out.
  3. It seems headed that way. Still 24 hours of runs to go. This storm has morphed into a real POS over the last 24 hours.
  4. What an ugly, ugly track on the RGEM. Basically the track from hell for this region.
  5. Right, I know. These storms where we need monster rates to verify always seem to disappoint in that department.
  6. Kinda neat how some people allow their internal rationalizations of model runs to play out in real-time on the boards. It's pretty fascinating.
  7. NAM says don’t sleep on this up here.
  8. LOL when snowshoe and wisp are talking about mixing the rest of us are in trouble.
  9. One factor working for this event is it is actually decently cold today. No spike to the 60s right before the storm at least.
  10. I said a while ago a lack of precip could be an issue even for those with good temps and was told the models all showed “plenty of liquid” and “this thing is juiced.” LOL As predicted, those with decent temps will waste precious time with light rates and spitting snow. That dry slot is massive.
  11. At this rate maybe just a few to start and then sleet and dryslot/drizzle. The models are really showing a dryslot here with the last few runs. This storm sure fell apart. NAM drives precip up to my place in Randolph now, very different from prior good runs here.
  12. The 12k is pretty ugly. Is the I-81 corridor still getting their HECS? LOL
  13. Uh, the snow map has a lot to do with getting info out to the public...
  14. Wow, the Ravens barely knocked off the Cleveland Browns. What an achievement.
  15. NE MD pummeled, but I am not buying any CCB/backlash snows. The models love to show that, but it rarely verifies. Weenies beware buying that stuff. This area is all about front-end snows. That needs to be the focus.
  16. No no, I was told the 00z NAM was awesome and a HECS with 3-4 feet across the "general area" from VA to Boston.
  17. Not trying to piss in anyone's cornflakes. I hope the western crew gets the three feet the NAM is spitting out. I would sell hard on those totals, but maybe it'll work out. Either way, that crew will do better than the Beltway crew for sure. Just beware the last minute east tics while spiking the football...
  18. Weatherbell is not better. It is way too high. Maybe TT is the best free option.
  19. I hope you crush it, dude. But this doesn't look like a HECS anywhere near the cities down here to me. I think 12-15" is a good range for your area.
  20. The map on Pivotal looks nothing like that.
  21. Feel free to hang your hat on the NAM dude. I'm sure you are getting three feet from this. LOL
  22. The NAM says this isn't even a MA forum storm. It mostly rains on the parts of the forum where 95% of the posters live.
  23. The NAM doesn’t require a supercomputer I’m sure. It can run on a Windows 98 laptop I bet.
  24. You have been on these boards a long time like me and are waiting for the same east move rug pull I am. Way too much western region football spiking going on. LOL at the HECS talk.
